I think it fits well, especially after the orgy that is the title track. It fits because it actually has a spiritual reference in it, which I'm not sure Prince intended. In the bible, there's a verse that says "marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled". His line of "Nothing's forbidden and nothing's taboo when the 2 are in love" speaks to that, IMO.

What was awkward to me at the time was his delivery of "the actual act" type lines, where he rushes the syllables out. But, it sort of lends to the urgency of the song's message in general.

And on the AMAs Tyka actually said he wanted to be known as the most prolific artist in history. For those unaware (and some are), prolific means creating a huge amount of material in an un-proportional shorter amount of time.

I think, as she said, with 900+ songs released, he's solidified his place in history. MJ worked a lot too, but there's no way he has that much in his vault. No. Way.

I really love the lyrics of the song. Not so much the music, I think Prince composed greater rythms and melodies, but it's still a beautiful song nevertheless.

This song is the ultimate in sexy (well I don't know, he's got a lot like that but this is one of my faves lol). It's incredible how he combines the explicit ("penetration", etc) with the romantic in this one.

This is one of my favorite Prince songs ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!I love the singing, the music everything. One of Prince most under appreciated songs!!! I just hate that the Lovesexy cd is on track. Lucky for my I have this on vinyl{not 180 g}.
