Our Destiny and The Ladder intro Okay, quick question! Lol I was listening to ATWIAD and when The Ladder comes on, it sounds JUST like the intro of Our Destiny. Was this discussed and I missed it? I searched the little google search thingy for a thread that could answer my question but found zilch. If I overlooked the thread does anybody have a link? |

That's exactly where it came from, "Our Destiny".
Always reference PrinceVault.com. They usually have tidbits about stuff like this on a song's page. It took me years before I realized the lead line in "The Max" was the original lead line for "Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic".

If you listen carefully you can faintly hear some of Our Destiny coming through
Faintly? The string section from the intro of "The Ladder" is clear as day in the intro to "Our Destiny". It's basically the strings over a drum beat and a keyboard.
