Can The Estate release a Prince Music Video Boxset already?

Hey guys, so this week I've noticed a bunch of Prince videos have been taken down on Youtube, and I just hate it that these lawyers or whoever is doing this, really won't let anyone watch the videos.

Do you think they'll release a box set soon? I want all and every single video Prince has done on Dvd.

Amen to that. It is not fair to take down something that is impossible to buy legitimately otherwise.

That would be nice. As far as I know, there was only one official release of music videos, which I have...

Oh my goodness YES. I can appreciate them taking them off streaming/youtube so long as they make them available otherwise. And I would think that it would greatly benefit them monetarily to do so! I would be first in line for a copy (or two).

[the hits]

Sign O The Times

Gett Off

Diamonds & Pearls Video Collection

3 Chains O' Gold

...all videos. Hell, you could even consider GB a video collection.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

His only music video releases were

– Gett Off
– Sexy MF
– Diamonds And Pearls
– The Hits Video Collection
– 3 Chains O' Gold

There are some other releases of course that contain some songs that were shot in a way that could be considered (and used as) music videos: Sign O' The Times, Graffiti Bridge, Interactive, The Undertaker, Beautiful Strange, but the only real music video releases are the 5 listed above. Well, to be really honest, the only real compilation of music videos from different eras we have is 'The Hits Video Collection', unfortunately.

I'd absolutely love to be able to buy a BluRay box set of every single music video Prince ever made, but I'm afraid that's very unlikely to ever happen. The production costs of such a set would be extremely high as I assume it would be a huge task to try to locate all of the original video masters and transfer them and improve them visually, as well as to remaster and resync all the audio... But it'd be great to see.

And it'd be great to have all of his other film/video/TV projects on BluRay as well. Act I, The Ryde Divine, The Madhouse film, The Beautiful Experience, etc etc. All of them.

I would welcome a music video boxset deeply.. cool

Also: the broader mass would love this as well is my guess, there's so many things the "casual fans" haven't seen (since these were released on VHS tapes only, decades ago).....
