What is the "full" ending anyway? Is it on some early bootleg or is it just something we know about?

Listening to the MB leak now, and it sounds way better than the versions I had on the Work It and Electric Intercourse boots. The extra 12 seconds are mainly in the intro, which those boots didn't have.

Ok, but isn't that an exception... ..and I doubt they sell many of them. I doubt they sold many when CD's were still.a thing.

I don't understand why Peach is on this release?

I agree. That song wasn't really a "hit" at all and it's not an outstanding track by any means. They should have included "I Hate U" and "TMBGITW" on this release. Those songs were actually hits.

The short answer is they don't have the rights to those songs (and clearly the negotations to licence them right now would take too long/cost too much to get them in time for this release to be out before christmas). [Edited 11/20/16 15:29pm]

thank you! That proved mercifully easy to find. Just a second or two of noodling with the sound levels rammed up so we can hear it, not exactly a revelation. [Edited 11/20/16 17:56pm]

IMHO, "Moonbeam Levels" is one of his best unreleased tracks and is much better than "Free", the song that replaced it on the original 1999 song list. I'd love for it to be a single. "Get up off that grey line"

Well, I've never heard it before so I'm looking forward to hearing it with "virgin" ears tomorrow. And I hope they make it a single too because I think there are a significant number of folks who won't buy this record for one unreleased song. I get it tho that the estate is trying to capitalize on the spike in Prince's popularity due to the hype around his passing. They geared this one towards those newer fans. As disappointed as some of his hardcore fans might be over the lack of new music right now those people likely aren't going anywhere. They will still be here waiting patiently for the vault to start emptying, hopefully with the additional company of those newer fans. It's a hurtful place, the world, in and of itself. We don't need to add to it. We all need one another. ~ PRN

Rogers began collecting his tapes to store them in one place, and her hobby soon became an obsession.
“I wanted us to have everything he’d ever recorded. I called up the studios he’d been using and said: ‘Have you got any Prince tapes?’” she told Azhar, saying there were 2,000 unreleased songs when she left in 1989. “This is his legacy. We need to protect these things.”
Susan Rogers, Prince’s former recording engineer, revealed to Azhar that, “I started the vault,” when she joined the music icon in 1983.
Her favorite hidden gem is “Moonbeam Levels,” a single recorded in 1982 that she dubbed “unbelievably beautiful.”

All Day All Night would be great too. It has a full revolution sound so maybe that's better left for a Purple Rain re-issue.
