I would draw the line at stating that "most African women are used to dealing with such situations." I know plenty of African women who are unwilling to share their men, under any circumstances. And, by the same token, there are women of all races who are willing to turn a blind eye to their men's indiscretions. There would be no "turning a blind eye" to anything. Prince would be able to he honest with this person right up front.

I have always loved that Vanity Fair photo. I can't imagine how difficult it is for those who knew him. It's good that she was able to attend the memorial in LA. . I am struck by this with regard to Lala: On the one hand, her dealings with Prince, other than music videos, were hidden, but she now feels free to share many of the allegedly intimate details of their friendship. Andy, on the other hand, traveled the globe with Prince...and he serenaded her on the world stage. Yet, she remains, for all intents and purposes, silent, leaving us to wonder, still, about the extent of their relationship. That's quite a contrast. Lala is refreshingly honest. There are no games. She doesn't want anything from Prince - still. She was his true Friend.

So, angel, please make it plain: Are you suggesting that Prince would have been able to be "right up front" with his "ideal" woman about having extramarital, carnal relations with other women?

By the time there would be any marriage, it would be unlikely he would be interested sexually or romantically in other women. He would be too satisfied internally. In his heart. At the beginning there would likely still be other relations, and yes - he could tell her everything - and she would not judge it.

Do you know her or have first-hand knowledge of her Prince accounts? If not, how can you make such categorical statements?

And, you've seen a statement from Prince professing his admiration for her honesty, right? Never mind. Why don't you start a thread dedicated to her and show/tell us all about it and what you "see" in this regard? Lest this thread gets run totally off the tracks, which some would absolutely love to see happen. [Edited 12/27/16 10:59am]

Did anyone get a chance yesterday to listen to Andy Allo's Music Monday performance? If so, did she perform any of her Prince collaborations as she has done in the past? Thanks

I saw Prince and Andy together on stage a couple of times and I've seen plenty of videoes. I don't think there was much chemistry between them. Prince prentended to flirt with her and she looked awkward and uncomfortable, a bit like a young person would react seeing their old uncle at the disco. Angel is probably basing her statements off of social media investigations and the lyrics to Girl Thang Or are you the only one allowed to string together theories because of IG posts and song lyrics? Do you know Andy or Prince or have first hand knowledge of their relationship? If so you further prove my theory that you have an ulterior motive. No one is interested in starting threads about any other women that P was dealing with because we would need a separate forum. Also no one else is trying to prove anything but you and you absolutely knew about Lala prior to this thread. She's smoking hot though right? A blind man wouldn't miss her

I concur with this beautiful literal description of THE ONE. She is sympatico and flow for his energies. I would also add that she possesses the gravitas to balance his tempestuous proclivities and gravity to keep him in her orbit. [Edited 12/27/16 11:18am]

Amimissinsumthin, This is what I believed Prince wanted to/tried to make other women be, hence some of his lyrics in those last albums. He wanted this so badly. Doesn't every man? But especially someone as free as Prince.

So, now you're trying to tell me about my prior knowledge of a Prince video dancer/friend? Seriously? I'm starting to get that psych ward vibe again. . And for the record, the social media posts that I have shared from Andy and Prince's social media are photographs and musical recordings. The only thing similar on LE's social media is her music video(s), a silhouette of her and Prince from a video, and a screen shot from a video. That's the totality of her "receipts." Everything else is "Prince told me." or "I told Prince," or "Prince wanted me to," etc. And don't get me wrong, ALL of it might be true, but NONE of it is verifiable. Prince is certainly not here to vouch for her. In fact, if he were here, P would probably be appalled. [Edited 12/27/16 12:18pm]

Andy switched things up on this week's Magic Monday, December 26. Not only did she sing a few songs (by request), but she also had a pretty extensive question and answer session. For starters, she sang "If I Was a King" from Superconductor and confirmed that she originally wrote it for Prince..Additionally, she sang a gorgeous snippet of Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide." There were many requests for a George Michael song, but she said that she wasn't prepared to sing anything tonight. She promised to work on a GM song so that she "can do it justice," perhaps "Father Figure.".When asked, she revealed that "The Grand Progression" is her favorite Prince song, which he beautifully played for her. In answer to a random question, she shared that, although Prince did not make her pancakes, he would make breakfast for her, when it was 'just [her] and him.".Prince continues to inspire her she said, especially when a memory or something that he taught her comes to mind and influences her songwriting..The question of "U Will B" came up, and just the mention of the title brought the biggest smile/blush to her face. When asked if the song will ever be released, she answered that there is no official recording of the song, except the GarageBand version that she and Prince did when they...and then she seemed to catch herself and she stopped talking. She then gave this very conspiratorial laugh and continued, "when we did it together.".They were never quite able to recapture that, well, energy when they tried recording in the studio, she stated; however, they did lay down the musical tracks, but no studio vocals..As it stands, the only version of "U Will B" that exists is the one on her Facebook, which she said, "captured a very beautiful moment in time" for her and Prince (followed by a deep, wistful sigh and then her raucous laughter). When she could compose herself (and stop blushing), she said that "it was awesome.".Rounding out the set were Superconductor's "Nothing More" and a very emotional rendition of "Don't Ever Say," from her Hello EP. Lastly, she announced a Stageit concert, from her living room to ours, to be held at noon on Saturday, January 21. More details will follow. For now, like most of us, she is just counting the days until this godforsaken year is over..I think Prince would be extremely proud of Miss Andy's initiative..

prince was never going to have a mature partner, he couldn't handle it. too threatening. had he lived another 57yrs he would have just found more young hens to take hostage. and yeah that would make most anyone lonely. Prince #MUSICIANICONLEGEND

.Here is that demo of Prince and Andy singing "U Will B." It was released on January 25, 2013.**. The song's lyrics, however, have been performed live by Prince since 5 May 2011, performed over the music of The Question Of U (along with lyrics from The One), later more commonly over the music of Shhh. And from 2014 onwards as part of Little Red Corvette. [He met Andy Allo in April 2011.]Read More....

Thanks, Lovejunky!! I've been reading through the thread. It is very interesting, as is often the case on the org. Prince first sang this song publicly on May 5, 2011, just two-three weeks removed from the night he met Andy Allo after one of his residency shows at the Forum in LA. I'm not sure exactly which night it was; however, I do know that she went, as part of the Africa Channel entourage, to an afterparty at his Bel Air mansion. I believe it was in late April.
