Prince said he was celibate and I don't think he was doing Andy. I think he worked with her as he did Judith and Tamar and others but no great love affair. Nothing life long. I believe whomever he was with in the end the public would not know. He was private and we did see him change over the years and he was not the same man who married Mani or even Mayte. Just chiming in

I agree; I think after 2 divorces, loss of his son and miscarriage, loss of his parents, Vanity (Denise), and other failed relationships......that all takes a toll on a person. He was never the same. Loss of a loved one really changes a person forever.

With regard to his sexuality, I think Prince had periods of celibacy, but I absolutely do not believe that Prince Rogers Nelson went years and years with no sexual intimacy. He compared celibacy to fasting, which doesn't mean that you stop eating forever, right? In fact, when pressed, he told Rolling Stone that he went "back and forth." I'll post that article below.

That sounds cute, but where is the evidence of what you're saying. Specifically, besides his two wives, who else wore Prince's ring on her engagement ring finger? Do you have pictures? Not to be mean, but did we ever even see Sheila wearing Prince's ring? Perhaps Susannah did, but I'm not certain.

He did not seem happy at all 2016 though.He seemed sad and the light, the sparkle was even gone when he presented the award to the Weekend November 2015

Exactly! It was Andy who had brought the light and sparkle into his life, beginning in 2011, and when she left, around 2013-14, so did his palpable, radiating joy.

both of these relationships started when the woman was in or nearing her 30s - not when she was 20-21. after 30 life is really all the same so a 20yrs+ age gap at that point is not a big deal.

Lovejunky, I think you're right. That's very observant of you to note P's swollen knuckles in his final years. All of that just went out the window when I saw the bling on her engagement ring finger!! I had heard that she wore a ring for a while, but I had never seen it for myself. It's amazing how things hide in plain view in pictures. I can't tell you how many times I have passed that photo, never once looking at it closely. And, if you had not shared her funny story about learning to sing and harmonize with the animals in the African wild, I would not have posted the zebra photo. Thank you so much for your input!! BTW: I think that photo was taken at Claridges, London with their famous rocking zebra.

Actually, this quote is not mine; although, I agree with the statement. Personally, I don't think an age gap is a "big deal" at any point, unless it's made to be such. It boils down to a very personal choice made by two people.

She's wearing what I have come to recognize as her mourning clothes, almost like a uniform. BTW: This is one of my all-time favorite Christmas songs. I know this will be a tough season for Andy, especially the arrival of the New Year, which she so often spent with Prince at his estate in Turks & Caicos. (On a side note, I hope she gets to go back there at least once before the place is sold.)

I just re-watched this interview and, while I enjoy watching it immensely, there is so much lost in translation. I mean, there is a lot going on. It would be great if some of our French-speaking orgers could help us out with translating, especially what the two women said. Or, that last question, where Prince was like, "Here we go," or something to that effect. I/We would be ever so grateful for any translation. Thanks in advance...
