Thank you for this information, purplerabbithole. It seems that Prince was no stranger to Andy's family. It is my understanding that Christopher toured with Andy when she was on the road with P. They are very protective of her. Watching their family live stream Thanksgiving morning, I found myself wishing that Prince could have been a part of such a close-knit family.

I found myself thinking the same thing. Such a close knit family would've been good for him. I would've loved to have been a fly on the wall when P was interacting with his proteges/girlfriends/wives families....showing the normal everyday side of him.

Agree...it would have probably been good for him and something he would have enjoyed possibly. Wonder if the brother was also a "chaperone" while they were on the road.

As would I, peri1025. It seems that part of him longed for normalcy, but his musical genius and accomplishments made that all but impossible. Still, more than most big stars, P was apparently able to stay under the radar and do a lot of "normal" stuff. I'm always happy when I hear stories about him just kicking back and enjoying life like/with "normal" people. Like, when I read about him just hanging out with Andy and just kicking it in little ole Sacramento for a couple weeks(!), even going with her for the famous French toast at the Tower Cafe. It's like he wanted to really know her and her background. I think he probably also wanted to allay any worries her family might have about her becoming involved with a global rock 'n roll sex "god."

I don't doubt for a second that her brother was there, in the main, to make sure that no harm came to his little sister.

I know I'm sure it'll be hard for her playing in MN. I get the sense she hasn't been back since the Superconductor years. I'm sure it'll be hard for her to go to PP...if she goes.

Going by the pics that Andy had up on her FB it looks like they spent quite a bit of time there from the end of 2011-to the beginning of 2013. Andy spent the Holidays there in 2014 and NYE 2015 but I think it was a getaway alone.

The pictures by the water are gorgeous. I think she was staying in a resort at the time from the looks of it.

I don't believe Andy was with Prince the past year. They seem to have tried to get back together in 2014 but something obviously happened again. Prince seemed to be reaching out to her last year in several ways and went to see her show last September 10th at The Bootleg Theater while in L.A. As far as the thread goes.the person who created kindly asked that we keep it going by posting pics and videos to celebrate "Pince and Andy's remarkable relationship and musical colaborations" Andy was very special to Prince.I don't know everything that happened between them but from the looks of things it made an impression on them both and inspired them both creatively.

Why can't people just be happy that he had love in his final years and he gave us some of his best music in many years? I am not the person calling anyone out to be prosecuted for Prince dying. You do not know me so yeah, you just lied. I do not do that- blame someone else for another's action. Please do not assume things about me. I am not that person all over social media talking trash about anyone. I don't do that and find it rude that you took such a liberty to misrepresent me in that way.

I was saying that if she was so tight with the man why was she not there for him. He lost friends he loved and had in his life for decades. He was a human being not just a pretty man who could sing and dance.

I am not buying him in a relationship with a chick young enough to be his kid. I do not see him that way.

He said over and over he was celibate and he must have worked hard to change and I do not think he was lying. I admire the man for who he became and I do not think he was sexing Andy or Damaris or the others. I think he truly grew into a different person.

Prince was a talented multifaceted person - he was not one dimensional and we all saw him evolve over the years. I admire him so much for being man enough to publicly change and see the world different. No way in my mind would he be sexing up these women not even Andy. Just my opinion.
