Thank you for sharing. I'm glad she did that because a lot of Prince fams swear up-and-down that he wrote People Pleaser and gave it to Andy. I do believe that P had a lot to do with the arrangement, but sista girl is the writer.

Yes Prince certainly had a pattern.Beauty is in the eye of the beholder though I do think she was more beautiful when she toured with Prince and with the full,fluffy fro too.Prince seemed to love her looks though.I agree with her laughing at everything...it does get a bit much but I guess Prince loved it since it sounds like her laughing at the end of Extraloveable and 2Y2D

Mine did as well. Prince.org went off line shortly after we posted and noticed on other threads that orgers that posted prior to that their posts also disappeared.

Her laughter is infectious. Sometimes it's raucous, and sometimes it's sexy, like in "Time." At other times, I think she uses it as a defense mechanism. I do agree wholeheartedly that she looked better with her big afro. Perhaps, she will let it grow out. And, I think that she and Prince both looked better when they were touring together. They had that "in love" glow. I don't know if it was his health declining or the pain of missing Andy, but he finally started to show his age a bit after 2014 and he lost a LOT of weight.

Thanks for posting! Yes,Prince said himself that Andy wrote People Pleaser,though he was fond of performing the song himself at times. Andy said her chords were more bluesy when she first presented it to Prince and he made them funky,then added the horns and turned it into a funk song.And I agree that Andy wrote it.Their friend bass player Nik West performs it often and she is quick to credit Andy as the writer.

I also think she looked better with the fro and makeup. Absolutely stunning in fact! But I know when I can't control things going on, I change my hair. When my ex and I split and I knew he wasn't coming back for good and a major birthday came up on me, I chopped my hair off and changed the color. It was a lift for sure

I agree.I think some of it may be a nervous gesture at times.I do hope she grows back the fro.Also the color she had last year was more becoming to her. Yes they did look better when they were touring together and they did have a glow about them.Prince couldn't take his eyes off of her on stage at that time.Really nice to see him like that again. They both started to look a bit haggard after they parted ways in 2013-even her at 24.Must have been a tough summer for them whatever happened.

I think we've all done the big chop when a relationship ends. And, she's dealing with a major, major loss. You can see it in her face and in her eyes. God willing, she will one day settle into her new normal, post-Prince.

Can you see yourself. That is the question. No, untreated alcoholics and narcissist can't. They have no insight.
