I think Prince was trying to get back with her then too and it seemed to work since Andy was at his L.A. show and sitting with him in VIP at Liv's show in March 2014. It is interesting how many of the recent women had fro's and they resembled Andy too.

Her poetry is really good, surprisingly deep for one so young. Given her songwriting, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I can't find the one about hazel eyes, though.

I can see why Prince was drawn to her. I read the Africa Channel CEO's account of the night he introduced Andy to P. He didn't go into the backstory of how that evolved, but I wonder just how much of a coincidence it was that Andy was among the Africa Channel entourage attending the party at Prince's Bel Air mansion that fateful night. I think perhaps Prince saw her special and heard her say that she'd like to work with him, setting the wheels in motion. Just a thought. On a different note, IIRC, didn't Prince also meet Damaris through the Africa Channel?

It's really interesting to learn that Prince was trying to get back in, especially when he has a history of moving on and never looking back. I also agree about the Andy-esque women in his last years...but none of them were Ms. Andy. BTW: Thanks for the tumblr link.

Yes,I noticed him hugging himself as she sang that line too. I loved that! He looked so sweet as he listened to her finish the song with a tender smile,clapping when she was through.-And yes P was looking very nice that summer-didn't blame Andy a bit.

Pretty sure that was Andy.And she said in an interview with FunkU the first thing P asked her was "are you married"? So maybe he saw her in the audience first and was attracted to her before being introduced formally to her at his after party.There were rumors that he had his eye on her for awhile.
