People who saw Prince and Andy together on the European and Canadian tours 2011 said they were holding hands quite a bit. They were definitely together until spring of 2013-then something happened and Andy wasn't around as much.She also wrote and posted some angry poetry on her Facebook at that time and they were traveling separately to the same destinations.Andy spent New Years 2013 with Prince at his home in the Turks and Caicos.He even took some great photos of her playing in the water that they used for her monthly download calendar she said recently that they worked on together-some of the pics are still up on Andy's Facebook.Something seemed to happen between them that really hurt Andy around April of that year.She attended the Billboard Awards but she did not want to talk about Prince at all when interviewed on the blue carpet. A few weeks later she and Prince flew seperately to Europe for the North Sea Jazz festival and he reportedly caught her show.Andy flew home to L.A. Prince flew back to Minnesota and started doing the 3rdeye tv livestreams.He was performing People Pleaser with Liv on vocals followed by Ain't Gonna Miss U and Dark.Prince seemed angry and hurt at the time. Yes but that is for that person to talk about if/when she is ready. It's not that big a secret anyway. I'm not saying there want anything between Andy and Prince, I've always felt there was and that it went on for a while and was a happy, good thing. I just saw it as being over a while back. A guy on Andy's Facebook told her that he stared at the pic of her as the album played.It was posted in May.He told her he had a good Prince story for her.I get the feeling from how Dr Funk described the way she looked when she saw him at her show that it was the first time they'd seen each other since their falling out/breakup.He said she looked at him like Apollonia did when they first met in PR and Andy looked like a deer in the headlights.I don't think she and Prince were together still.With Andy's pic being the only one up at PP it's given a lot of his fans and hers the impression that she was special.And I am a fan of Andy's solo career as well as her time with Prince.This thread was to discuss their collaborations so naturally talk of their personal relationship was going to happen since they wrote several songs about it seems.

Ihink Prince's photographer Justine Walpole took that pic.I saw her comment to Andy on Instagram that looking at that pic made her happy because Andy was so genuinely happy that day she added that now it also makes her sad to look at it.

Wow, I am impressed by how much info you have and thanks for sharing. They do look extremely happy in the photo where he is dressed in red and both of them in the photo where their heads are together singing at the mic. If she sings about personal experiences, more may be forthcoming. Things worked out the way they were supposed to between them. I don't think he could have remained with one woman for long, though...it wasn't in his make-up and his pattern had been set many years ago. I have to wonder if he ever felt bad after a failed romance...sorry am getting off topic.

It makes me sad, too. She and Prince both look very happy and relaxed. I wonder what was the occasion. It's interesting that Prince had put his ring on that finger. I say that he "put" it there because that must be what happened. If not, he clearly allowed her to do it, knowing what that implied, to Andy and to the world.

Yes.Prince took quite a few photos of her in 2011 and 12 there as well. A few of them are still on her Facebook. There's a gorgeous one he took of her sitting on the balcony of his home. Also a few of her walking along the shore from Nov 2011.

i can imagine how betrayed she felt. at first he's totally gung-ho on her career and constantly boosting her up. featuring her in his shows etc. and after the release she probably wanted to focus on supporting the record and he started pouting or pulled back(that's what his other lovers describe) and she's blindsided. she was porbably thinking, he was all for my career and now he wants me to slow it down and hang back with him. WTF!(i'm guessing on the last part, but that's exactly the same thing he did with several others, ex-gfs and band members.)

Am hoping it wasn't JH and I don't know why I say that, altho when I first saw the video of JH being locked out at PP, with all the gorgeous hair and made up...at a quick glance I thought it was AA.

Thanks lol. A lot of us were watching closely.I liked them together and they seemed to be happy together for at least two years...then I think his old pattern of bringing more girls into the mix started and Andy wasn't having it and she left for awhile.

Yep she was angry and didn't hold back lol. Andy didn't sit around though and hired her own band and headed to Europe for her summer Superconductor tour. I think she may have been too independent for him.She never sits in one place for long.

i can imagine how betrayed she felt. at first he's totally gung-ho on her career and constantly boosting her up. featuring her in his shows etc. and after the release she probably wanted to focus on supporting the record and he started pouting or pulled back(that's what his other lovers describe) and she's blindsided. she was porbably thinking, he was all for my career and now he wants me to slow it down and hang back with him. WTF!(i'm guessing on the last part, but that's exactly the same thing he did with several others, ex-gfs and band members.)

Minimize if you must, but I'm counting two albums, two and a half, if you include her contributions on AOA...and I think they were emotionally involved until his passing, meaning about five years. He was also reportedly in the process of working on a third complete album, Superconductor Reloaded. But, who's counting, right?

That's a great way to describe it..."emotionally involved" and appears to fit the situation perfectly.
