Paisley Park and Tyka on Today show next Wednesday Oct 5th

Just briefly advertised. Said to feature a tour of PP, with Tyka.

I figured national media would be covering the opening of Paisley Park. Another reason to clear the fence and having everything there look nice and neat. Every day I drive by now the parking lot is full of cars. I'm sure they're sprinting to get it finished on time.

I wonder if Tamron arranged an exclusive with Tyka? The other outlets will probably not get an interview.

I saw where Al Roker is going to do the tour and talk with Tyka. There is another post with the link and it says Al is doing it.

I asked if Tamron arranged it because she and Al Roker are colleagues.

It's possible they'll put it online. Not sure if the Today Show is region locked.

I really want to see this too, hopefully someone will put it out there, maybe youtube, so we can all watch. It's in their interests for everyone to see this, so maybe good ole web sheriff won't take this down. confused

I think I will find a cupboard to clear out.She tried to sue him a few years ago.Only in it for the money.I will never forgive her/family for not giving him the funeral he deserved. Shocking.

As far as Prince is concerned, I don't imagine that funerals were too important to him. And, once again, antonb, he never actually meant for personal life to become a spectacle--although I look forward to some tell-all books! This TV appearance is a showcase for Paisley Park. Fans here can be extra special! confused

That was Lorna that sued him. She had since passed away.

Funerals are for the living, not the deceased, so not sure what you mean by the funeral P "deserved." And for all we know, the family may have handled his service privately not only in accordance with the way he lived his life, but because he verbally told Tyka or others that's how he wanted he his funeral arrangements taken care of.

No I'm not Family, Princes life went and reached way behind his family. He deserved a better send off. Where's all the money for the concert going? Any to charity? Sure Prince would want a portion of it too. And by the way, I don't care about your opinion. I'm allowed mine.Time will tell for sure.

You cared enough to respond to it and you clearly value other people's opinions to join a discussion forum.

You're not his family, it's not your business at all. Fact.

Not going to get into a tit for tat, just dont care what you think. Everyone else on here are great. If they truly cared about the fans, they would have given him a proper funeral. It would have been some kind of closure for his fans. At least the people of Minneapolis deserved it. They have been great so far, and really respectful to Prince. Every decision so far have been made to make money. If its just the lawyers making the decisions then you can understand it, but i don't trust them. Lets see what happens first before jumping on the bandwagon.

You need to find closure on your own. Prince's family is not responsible for giving you that closure.

I would add - they aren't capable of giving others closure. NOBODY is capable of giving another person closure. That hole you may feel inside is your own thing to take action upon. Otherwise you are demanding something of others' time and money. Like a child having a fit, demanding others care and attention. Somewhat immature, really.
