It is hard for me to choose just one because he had so many great ones, but my fave song definetly is not Purple Rain or any of the ones played on the radio. Not that they aren't good, they are just overplayed by the mainstream, but I still listen when they come on.

Of the earlier 'hits' - my go to is always Little Red Corvette, but I love Delirious (to me lyrically seems like the pre-cursor to LRC) and Controversy as much, ooh and 17 days.

My all-time favorite, as hard core fan, has to be WDC also... I remember going to get the 7" at the record store when it came out..he looked so f***'n cool on the cover with the sunglasses on... don't even know how many times I played it...and when I turned it over for the B-side...OMG...what!! (As we all know), 17 days is incredible!!! Could not wait to get the LP (I was only 12 at the time, so I had not seen the movie (or read the book first )...Then, to hear this song when the album came out, in all it's glory...and the video! coupled with the poster (from the video shoot) of the band... wow...that song is just cemented at #1 for me. Now I don't always go right for it, but I can never turn it off once it starts. .... To round out my top 5, in no particular order (Joy in Repition, Ballad of Dorothy, Beautful Ones, Dreamin' About U)... I think...so hard to narrow to 5!! (if I can say Lovesexy, the album, as one untracked song...that would go in there too!!)

Bambi, Adore and If I Was Your Girlfriend are my rock solid top three. Out of the more well known songs, I will always listen to Kiss and Purple Rain all the way through. I never skip.
