I added the below to the list, thanks for the requests, all of these will translate nicely to the piano.
I can't promise when I can get to them, or what order they will be in, as my piano is in storage right now due to a move. I do have a Yamaha full sized keyboard that I may be able to do some of these on, but it obviously pales in comparison to the actual grand piano in sound and feel.
Father's Song
Arms Of Orion
She Gave Her Angels
Something In The Water (Does Not Compute)
Electric Intercourse
Still Would Stand All Time
My goal with these tributes is not to put me in the spotlight, my intent is for these to be a celebration of Prince, his music, and his influence. I hope when folks come across my videos on youtube they will dig deeper into Prince's music as well as the man behind the man, and maybe even possibly pick up an instrument themselves.
I can't reply to all the posts here, but just know I really appreciate all your comments, it wasn't until Prince's passing that I decided to share my playing with anyone, so this is all very new to me.
Fabulous! .
I used to play the clarinet and all of this makes me want to get it out of the garage again - sadly, I don't think those tunes will translate quite as well onto the old woodwind, lol! . I can't wait to hear you have a go at these songs; it really is a wonderful tribute and skill. . Thank you again. P would be proud. .

I appreciate all your comments a great deal, it wasn't until Prince's passing that I decided to share my playing with anyone, so this is all very new to me.

Thank you. It's very honorable of you to be doing this and I completely understand your motivation. I too have felt compelled to start playing piano again after many years, after reflecting upon Prince's outstanding musical achievements which made me realise that beyond it all it is also about what one can do when following our inspiration. And you just reminded me of that.
Per request, her is She Gave Her Angles. This will be redone when I get my piano out of storage, until then, I will be using the keyboard. Hope you enjoy it.

Hey LeadlineI love your playing. I think I read on Youtube that you don't read music but are playing by ear, wow! I have been playing some songs by pulling the guitar tab chords then expanding on them by ear. Are you working with chords at all? if so I'd be interested to know the chords for The Ladder.

Hello 16Letsgo, I am glad you enjoyed the tributes. Yes, I play by ear, I am not working with any chords, the only thing I do before I start a song is make sure it is in the correct key, and then I start working through it.

I request that you Please work your way through all of Princes music and give us these beautiful NAKED Melodic Homages in purest form...
Might be my age, I dont know..
I would love to see the Philharmonic Orchestra for example do a version of Controversy for example....
Or
Call my name /Violin and Piano...
the melodies stand alone for me...
Maybe not the Plectrum Elecrum stuff...but then again..hmm
Thanks so much for Posting your beautiful work...
Keep it up...x
Thank you! It is funny that you mention doing all his songs, that has crossed my mind, but the undertaking would be enormous to say the least. I may do an entire album at some spoint start to finish.

Venus De Milo and The Ladder started me sobbing uncontrollably. But I loved your renditions of all of the songs you selected. Looking forward to more.
.
I miss him every single day. I can go for a few weeks, and then have a week or two where a certain photo or thought, or song triggers something and I completley fall apart for an hour.
You are very talented. I'm sure you made Prince's spirit smile while you practiced and practiced to perfection. You honor him well and with love. Thank you so much for sharing. I was deeply moved.
