He music was accesible you just had to go buy it. He was talking about YOUTUBE destroying sales years ago and now the entire industry is bitching about it and streaming.

He cared about his music more so then most of the artist around.

If you follow their Twitter feed they didn't re-tweet this because it's what they want, which is why Londell responded in frustration that he had already discredited this story.

I just wonder where the story came from. If not from the estate then perhaps record companies have been asked to make offers. It seems unlikely they'd just pluck a number out of the air.

35 million might not sound like much, but if you're talking about a vault of unreleased music which may or may not sell, it can't be far off.

His back catalog on the other hand, is a goldmine which even Prince himself never exploited to it's full potential. But they wouldn't refer to his back catalog as his vault.

Why?
