What did you catch that Prince threw into the audience?

Were you a good catcher at Prince concerts?

I was not very good unfortunately
confused

Once he threw his waist chain into the crowd and I tried to catch it along with others but this 10 foot arm seemed to come out of nowhere and grab it.

Any catching stories?

It was so hot at the Purple Rain concert all decked out in black trench coats smile We had raided a thrift store. Anyway I caught a towel that Prince wiped his face and threw in the audience.

I caught a few lascivious looks - but that's all.

Oh - and a few friends and I caught his guitar when he handed it down to us at the Empire ballroom in Vegas.

A few shirts, sunglasses, one of his waist chains, a couple of different era picks, a tamborine, the Kiss jacket and his attention when I took some pictures when I shouldn't.

Over the years I've been a bit sloppy. A lot of my Prince collection (and it was vast) was in my parents loft, before I moved out.

I asked my Mum in April about the Kiss jacket, she said (and shes 75) that she might have given some items to the charity shop for clothes to be sent to Africa.

I haven't climbed up the ladder to check yet, but if I do and the Kiss jacket is gone, I have visions of some poor 13 year old Ethiopian boy wandering around a barren landscape wearing this fake diamond encrusted leather jacket, not realising he should be doing the splits and telling his tribal leader, 'I thing I wanna dance'. lol

sigh He threw me a number of roses & plectrums, but every time he looked at me I clutched on2 myself & chanted profanities sooo...
In the end he threw his hands up & shook his head

I'll bet it's the envy of all his friends too. Maybe he gave it as a wedding gift to his Mrs after he got older and married. ..I mean it is fancy isn't it?. Ok I'm getting carried away now. You've got a good collection there. I wish I had caught the waist chain..hey maybe you're the one who caught it instead of me! Mad! Just kidding Squirrel.

His hat 'flew' of of his head one time when he was playing guitar solo in DC. I caught it and threw it back on stage (not thinking that he saw who did it). He then proceeded to go get his hat and give to me. My friend who was with me could hardly believe how close he was to our faces when he gave me his hat. It was a black hat with an orange band around it.
