I wonder what it was I saw then...A doorway shrouded in a black curtain, with a security guard nearby...I'm glad it wasn't the elevator.

Just because you never read it anywhere or you got the impression from afar that he wasn't close to his sister doesn't mean the closeness didn't exist. In reality only the two of them know the depths of their relationship. Other people's comments on their relationship and your view of it are just opinions. I see this a lot on FB groups. Everyone is an expert on who Prince was/wasn't close to, what he would/wouldn't have wanted. Everyone in it for the money etc. Is this really the fan base he cultivated over all these years? I am sure there was more behind the doors that we as fans did not/do not know about, including his relationship with his family.
Prince appearantly provided for his family. There was something there, even if it was obligation, which I am not saying.
At this point, Tyka has her hand beyond full. In between the chaos and legal woes, she is trying to grieve and deal with Prince's passing.

John L. Nelson DID have a will.
He made P the executor and in his will he allowed P to make the decision whether any of his children would inherit from his estate.
In John L. Nelson's draft will (prior to executing his final will) he specifically gave his entire estate to P and specifically stated the rest of his children, including Duane, were disinherited. |

Where did these docs in the exhibit come from and why are the draft versions avalible? Anyway it makes my point that Prince knew enough about estates to make a decision about Tkya if she really bugged him he could have written out. |

The documents were given to counsel for Brianna and VN through the "discovery" process.
They found John L's will in P's personal possessions. |
