What if Prince had been a woman?

I mean, if Prince had been a woman, how would things be different, if any? Of course, lyrical content would be switched from women to men, and other things like that. Would the musical impact still be the same? For some reason, I keep picturing Madonna, Janis Joplin, and Joni Mitchell all rolled into one. shrug How would things be if Prince was a woman? One thing is for sure, I know I wouldn't be able to drool over his beautiful Parade look anymore!

I'm "sexist" on this subject. lol

It took testosterone for Prince to be what he was and do what he did.
I don't think a woman, past or present, (not even Madonna) could approach that level of creative libido, lust, virility, sexuality, passion, desire, intensity, romance, need, longing, wooing, exhibitionism, kinkiness, horniness, wanton display, orgasmic release (on and on) all wrapped in spirituality- a choir robe, angel's wings, a halo, and the love of God.
It's easier for a man to artfully, creatively be a woman than for a woman to be a man.
There's something about just having a penis: it's a divine knowing. wink

I know ALL the ladies gonna rise up and attempt to "necklace" me with a rubber tire and gasoline. LOL

lol

She'd be called Princess

"Sister" would take on a whole new meaning!

"I could never take the place of your man" would be seen as confusing as "If I was your girlfriend" which in turn would be a meaningless song with some strnge lyrics.

Mani would be gutted!

His essence wouldn't have that enigma or oddness as him being a male doing what he did imo. Not that a woman is stereotyped to that stage behavior but him adding the element and pretending to be a female in many of them (my opinion) and being a black man doing it upped the ante etc. for me
"Climb in my fur."
