He wrote at least 2 songs about hookers (Cindy C. and 319), so maybe he did or maybe it was just a fantasy. At this point, who really cares.
Most hookers keep their mouths shut too. Just think about how many celebrities / politicians have slept with hookers vs. how many have been made public. A lot of them may no longer be in the "business" and don't want the world to know their former profession.
Eh?
Regardless of the Q on whether or not Prince slept with prostitutes, why do either of those songs have to be about hookers? |

.
A hooker would be out of business pretty fast if she outed her customers.
.
The song Cindy C. is not about a hooker, it is about Cindy Crawford, and Prince trying to get a date with her.
.
He is the one kissing and telling by writing and releasing that song.
.
Shame on him
.

I stopped caring who Prince was sleeping with long ago. I don't see how it just didn't drive folks bat crazy trying to keep up with who was coming and who was going. I was content in believing he wasn't hurting anybody and nobody was hurting him, that's as far as my care went.
I am hoping he didn't go stone cold celibate for years on end given he didn't seem to have any stable relationships not tied to somebody getting a album out of it and him converting them into his faith. I really hope there was something a little bit more substantial going on for him behind the scenes, hopfully somebody already committed to his faith of choice. I'm doubting it but I sure want to believe it. [Edited 9/19/16 16:08pm] |

I'm not, it got annoying to me. Everytime you think something was heating up to being serious that person would disappear off the scene every single time.
It got sad. Truthfully.

I'd rather believe he was just playing the field then seriously searching for someone, if it was playing out as it looked.

Actually, I barely knew who these women were until now, going back decades now. I honestly didn't care. I mean I wasn't even sure about Shelia. I thought he shagged whoever he wanted whenever he wanted and left it at that.

Not to be a Debbie downer but sometimes I feel like saying what I really think. You keep building a house on sand, you don't keep the house for very long, regardless how grand the house is.

Former prostitute turned madam Heid Fleiss said at the LA house which she bought from actor Michael Douglas, she hosted a party for classic rock star Mick Jagger. "I remember I came out of my bedroom and Prince was dancing on the floor," she said in 2012, but won't elaborate. Prince's name is rumored to be in Heid Fleiss' black book of clients. She was busted in 1993. So this was '80s-early '90s era. When she was arrested, Heidi Fleiss threatened to sell her address book but, despite big-money offers, she has never snitched on her clients. "Every madam has released some names or humiliated someone," she muses. "I couldn't do that. I sunk the ship, why bring everyone down with me? Those Gucci books with the names in them are a distant memory," Heidi says. She does reveal Mick Jagger was never a client. "I met him a few times but never knew him that well. Ronnie Wood (Rolling Stones guitarist) is too cheap to pay for girls... I never did business with him."
Goodnight, sweet Prince. |

no ... anyone? The world's problems like climate change can only be solved through strategic long-term thinking, not expediency. In other words all the govts. need sacking!

The book in this person's fantasy. Trust me if this were true someone would be out right now hawking their story. Estates cannot sue for defamation so once again where are the stories. |

Yeah, I thought they were just making up trolling bullshit as a joke. And no response to my simple question. No book title + no author, no names = looks like it doesn't exist. And "trannie" is a dehumanizing transphobic mocking term for transgendered people. Goodnight, sweet Prince. |

Then stop being vague and evasive. You have this book but you don't know the name of your book? Can't be bothered to pick up your book and simply read the title and give us the information? Sydney Biddle Barrows "the Mayflower Madam"'s escort service was in New York City from 1979 to 1984 when it was shut down and she was arrested. Seriously one of the Mayflower Madam books has this claim about Prince? There's four Mayflower Madam books. Goodnight, sweet Prince. |

He could have any woman he wanted so why would he pay for one? On the other hand he was a lusty, famous, wealthy musician and probably wanted to try it all. He didn't have to just wonder or be curious, he had the money to go realize all his decadent fantasies. My niece is a dancer in mpls and it's common folklore amongst the new, young girls at the club she works for that prince was a frequent visitor back in the day and was always given the royal treatment by management and the ladies.
He wanted Cindy C and she didn't want anything to do with him so there goes that theory lol. |
