Aftershows are my main interest. I'd like to get my hands on the full one he did with Ron Wood and Sting. All I've found was a snippet of "MIss You". I always thought the aftershows were way more fun than the main show. Watching him just jam with the band, improvise, cue people, intereact with teh audience and being able to really watch his hands up close while he soloed was just the greatest.

The first time I saw him live he also performed Miss You with Ronnie Wood. Parade tour Aug 86 Wembley Arena. P totally owned it and loved the song ever since. Agreed. I feel like it would be an injustice for the world not to have a chance to see Prince the live performer because he was brilliant at it. "Dive inside your soul if U wanna know, the light inside the darkness forever glows" (Prince, 1958 - Eternity) |

More than anything in the whole world, I'd love to see him play "Just My Imagination" at Small Club.

I'd like to see the Second Coming film Prince was working on and the Japan concert from 1990.

Oh you can delete the parts when other people are singing and the camera is not on Prince
i hear you, but i really like watching the way prince interacted with the band members. his bands always had great personalities. so, i'd still want the entire concert
i'd love to be able to go to PaisleyPark.Com and pay to view and/or download various concerts. that way, The Park wouldn't have to "release" anything, but only make it available through pay-per-use streaming, like as on Amazon movies. if handled correctly, a strong PaisleyPark website would be a gold mine.
then again, in this world thieves would probably surround the temple, steal all the bibles, rip off the candles, altar cloth and steal the rug on their way out. so maybe a"release" distribution method would work best.

Or they could try both methods cuz a release would allow theives tosteal too.

yeah. it boggles the mind how willing people are to go there, all the while proclaiming themselves 'fans'. some will even say they are collectors, and are doing the world a favor by hoarding unreleased material but at the end of the day they are still thieves
we finally achieve the "free exchange of information" our ancestors could only dream about, and how do we use it? to rip each other off.....

What if they released a boxed set, featuring shows from every decade he performed? They would have to include every tour (mini or major), as well as bonus footage of rehearsals and after-shows. In that way one could see his evolution as an artist. |
