I think you have had a sheltered like because of you comments. You seem to think all woman are victims just waiting to be taken advantage of by some evil man. You have no idea that woman are sometimes fully aware of what sort of man they are dealing with and don’t care. I really couldn't give you a decent response last night because i really only had heard general things about the man. Just now I looked at some amazon reviews on books about him, it seems as if they point out how he really was behind the scenes, words like backstabbing, sob, as well as things that contradict his image, being a drinker smoker and using bad language. He escaped the payola scandals of the 50's but I guess everyone knew he was guilty of it. Personally, I never liked the few times the mask slipped, my idol, boxer Sugar Ray Robinson gave him a playful punch and Dick Clark talked down to the greatest fighter to ever live, I didn't like that. Also, i've read of run ins chuck berry had with him, chuck was the same type of person really and that can create lots of friction.
