i was the YOUNGEST to join the org back in the early 2000's... i joined the org at 12 years old and was infamous amongst the prince forums

Notes

1. Age taken is age given at time of response, some recipients have aged another year since they posted, one person posted the day before thir birthday and their age was counted as they age they currently were.

2. 4 could not be worked out due to riddles, lack of statisicians knowledge of algebra and other esoteric bullshit, I can't bother to work out.

3. I assume everyone is telling truth, as it is too time consuming to see if any double posters have added their bit.

Patterns.

1. A high number of people are aged between 37 and 50, these are mostly people who became Prince fans between the 1999 and Diamonds and Pearls Albums. People aged 42, 45, 46 and 44 are very numerous, mainly as they were preteen/early teens in the lee of Purple Rain in 1984. A high number of 37, 38, 40 and 41 year olds are likely to have found Prince around the Batman and Diamonds and Pearls era, but they could have discorvered his in the interim, earlier or later. I myself are 40 and found Prince through Diamonds and Pearls. Most of my friends incredibly were hooked with the Batman album, so maybe another major "Entry" point?

2. A large group of people in their late teens and early 20s are new fans and this is refreshing to see this generation as well, along with late 20s and early 30s who found Prince in the mid 90s (Anybody a young teen who found Gold Experience - holla, you have taste!)

3. Smaller group of fans over 50, likely to be new fans discovering Prince in middle age, maybe through memories of Purple Rain era and attracted to his mature man of blues and soul persona of last few albums, also of course the originals, people who got into Prince through 4U, Prince and any other really early album - I salute you guys!

Welcome back, sorry if it looked like I was stalking. I love it that our seniors love Prince too, his music truyly transcends all age groups. My partner is 75, but even he likes some of Prince's piano songs like Sometimes it snows in April and Electric Intercourse. I would hardly call him a fan though, he listens to mostly popera, some German dude called Garett who plays violin versions of pop songs and camp singers like Barbra Streisand and Shirley Bassey.

Im average age, which is fine according to the Org stats........ but not in real life.

Glad u came back and posted! Do you dance to any of Prince music, ? jeejee I think Prince had said before in quote, "Age is just a Number" or something to that effect. And a 72 year old with purple highlights is too cool!
