Meaningless. Prince has way worse albums and there are thousands of other artists with worse albums than even Prince's worst effort. How did anyone who isn't a fan even remember this album, were they given a list to choose from?

You are right.

It is "Meaningless"

But I think that you got you adjectives mixed up.

Prince has albums that aren't as great as 'Çome'.

I love 'Come' it is in my top 5 of Prince's albums. cloud9

What makes you think the people who voted 'Come' onto the list weren't, in fact, fans?

.

And "Meaningless" you say? In the grand scheme, most things are... But it's fun to argue about, isn't it?

True... but it's all a matter of perspective, wouldn't you say?

.

Michael Bolton's worst would be plenty of musicians masterpiece, too.

Alas, I agree.

Never got the love for "Pheromone". Prince has a thousand sexier beats up his sleeves (listening to a pristine Wonderful Ass as I type).
Never got the love for Solo. Minimalistic music is not so easy.
Space has too much of it, nothing much happens.

Letitgo, Race ("30 years" kicks butts), Letitgo and Loose! are gems.
I mean masterpieces.
OK, throw in "Come" as well, for the horns as shore waves, near the end.

Throw in the good stuff from TGE, Exodus, Chaos & Disorder, The Truth and the usual suspects (namely Hide The Bone, Days Of Wild, Lovesign), and you probably get one of the best albums of the '90s, if not the best.
And a triple album. Like Emancipation. Or what we should have gotten: The Dawn.

What makes it a failed classic for me is the closure : who needs Vibrator mixed with Private Joy? Who's got a head like a balloon to call one of his songs "Orgasm"? Even if is name is Prince?
Especially if it's two minutes of samples. Talk about lazy Prince.
What kind of "Orgasm" is that?

And that "Thank U" at the end, he had a thing for that for a certain period, it's so flat you don't know if it's aimed at Warners reps or the disappointed fan ears still in shock after hearing this senseless paste.
Who wants to hear Prince whisper "Come" to Vanity in his headphones? To me, it's like finding and old VHS with my big brother and his girl doing on the couch. I'm not gonna Jack Off over it.
Maybe the girl he's having sex with? I suspect if a lady asks for "Orgasm" during intercourse, chances are she's going to be plugged to the Electric Man, no matter.

When I wanna get laid, I put on "Do Me, Baby", not "Orgasm".
I would feel like Skipper is sitting in my ear while I do it.
The I'll go "— OK, ok, we're coming already! Geez..."
Now I know some of you won't mind Prince's tongue in the ear, but let's stay on topic.
