'Dead On It'... All the sisters like it when u lick em on the knees... 'Rockhard'... Soaked in banana cologne... If we rule out When 2 R In Love (by far the best song on the album) because it's also on Lovesexy , then I'd have to go with Superfunkycalifragisexi, if only for the title. It sums up the dark mood of the album perfectly. Bob George is fun, but I can't really call it a song. All the other tracks are good, but not outstanding. [Edited 9/6/16 1:45am]

Now that we're on the subject of The Black Album, I'm wondering: was it really that good or were people just excited to hear something they weren't supposed to hear? I remember that back then, the non-release of this album was a big hype and because of that, everybody wanted to hear it. Forbidden fruits are always the best, aren't they? I had it first on cassette, then on bootleg CD and it was exciting to listen to and I loved it. But when it finally came out, I was like, why bother. It's old news. I bought the LP, but now that it's not forbidden anymore, I don't think it's that special anymore. Just another collection of funk jams. For me, it hasn't stood the test of time very well. The “Black Album” is one of my favourites. I'd probably opt for “Rockhard...”, for me that horn part is possibly the funkiest thing he ever recorded. I love every track though.
