Hello all,

I also am riding the wave of "sort of ok" to "cannot deal." Sending out thanks for the many kind org.notes and welcomes. Also massive to fams who are struggling now, and not just with losing P but with serious life losses and challenges.

I spent a good 8 hours today going down the rabbit hole of P pics (and today was loving this, in between scraping paint) ... and many of the best have prince.org tagged! surprise surprise I go from being really comforted to sad when seeing pics or listening - cannot be predicted.

I wanted to post pics today, but it is already almost 1AM here and still figuring out how.

Not sure what the protocol is - not sure if okay to send special hugs to someone via org.note. So, I am sending hugs to all who are having challenges with anything re P or overall life struggles (having them too).

Thank you for welcoming me. So glad I am here. As some have said, this thread/org is so much more than pics.

Single or Double? I missed this last night (somehow!) I'll make it up. I get the same feeling really, I can't even bring myself to skip over songs in his albums if I'm playing them straight through, I do have a few playlists, but mainly I'm just listening to how Prince wanted them to be played. I did play a few bits and pieces from the Talking Book and the Songs in the Key of Life, but couldn't stick with it for long, before switching back. Lots of things bring little bits of joy back, it's been nice to rediscover a few things too, like Hello.

Those are good. I switch from Innervisions, Fulfillingness' 1st Finale and Natural Wonder. They are so uplifting when I'm missing P and feeling but, I always find my way back 2 I somehow think it will always be this way 4 me now.

I started to watch the Instagram video of Lets Go Crazy that Mayte posted and man it hit me hard. Not the same without Prince I had to stop watching. Too hard. Too sad...

I read the Star Tribune review and wept. So sad, so wrong. What is it about the person that's got everyone so upset? Its more about us, and what he gave us, and how he connected us. He gave us so much and its hard to accept that constant flow of creativity, passion, uniqueness is gone. I wasn't ready.
