I totally forgot to update you all! Some of you know already, but yes I took Mayte's class again on Saturday. Somehow this class seemed more emotional than the first. A lot of us were at the first class together so there were a lot of familiar faces. One girl recognized me from Instagram (lol) and another woman asked me if I was a member of the NPG No idea what she meant by that, but I got a kick out of it. The class itself was a ton of fun. Mayte is such an amazing dancer and so fun to be around. I'd pay to just sit there and watch her dance all day After class I stuck around to chat with her and she remembered me from the last class, as well as Instagram. She "liked" the photo of my tattoo a few weeks back. We were talking about our tattoos and swapping stories. The best part was, she complimented me on my makeup and I told her I'm a makeup artist. So I then asked her if it was ok to give her my business card and she was thrilled! I told her to call me whenever she needs me

She said she would, but time will tell! Keep your fingers crossed, that would be an opportunity of a lifetime! I'm just grateful that she even considered it. I'll be at next month's class as well, I don't see myself stopping any time soon

Single or Double? I missed this last night (somehow!) I'll make it up. It was indeed relaxing, played the quiz and got trounced, but half the questions were about Strictly (that's Dancing with the Stars for the Americans/Canadians) so how am I supposed to know any of that when my 'pop culture' knowledge is so very limited (the youths these days really). Been a good day today, though there's much too much sun here today, so I'm basking in the darkened room like a vampire. Hope y'all are enjoying it *grumble grumble* I'll use the time to catch up on the thread and plan the logistics for that time machine we're planning in the Guitar Face thread. Hope you're doing better today It was a dark night I think, maybe today was better? Hope you come back soon....

I get the same feeling really, I can't even bring myself to skip over songs in his albums if I'm playing them straight through, I do have a few playlists, but mainly I'm just listening to how Prince wanted them to be played. I did play a few bits and pieces from the Talking Book and the Songs in the Key of Life, but couldn't stick with it for long, before switching back. Lots of things bring little bits of joy back, it's been nice to rediscover a few things too, like Hello.

Prince just still makes me happy, which is lovely.
