Excuse me, but why are you taking that tone with me. First, you don't know me or anything about me and what I know. You are saying I am "wrong"? And you are right, is that it?

So, you know for a FACT that Prince was addicted to pain meds and he just had pills strewn around his estate and walking around with deadly pills in his pocket?

Please, don't tell me what I know and DON'T know.

I know people travel with medications all the time.....PRESCRIBED medications.......not ILLEGAL ones!! biggrin

Sorry about the tone. Youre right and I apologize. I get frustrated listening to people who obviously haven't the first clue about drugs and all the posters here show suspect "foul play". It's ridiculous.

By "wrong" I was referring to "Prince would never put poison in his body" and assumed you were referring to drugs in general. He was taking drugs (pain meds) for sure. If you meant "he would never knowingly have poisoned himself with fentanyl", I agree. I think he meant to pop a pain pill and got a counterfeit one but dude very clearly had a problem, likely with hydrocodone.

I also think you're wrong that if he were carrying prescriptions that weren't his or illicit counterfeit pills that he would automatically be arrested and put in jail. In fact, I know you're wrong because A: I've done it and never went to jail and B: airport screening doesn't give shit one about people carrying pills. I do it all the time and have them right there in my carry on bag. I've had xanax right there in a bottle that wasn't mine and never had a single issue. They don't care. And no NSA screener is going to run a lab test on what looks like a regular old Lortab. I carried mountains of my grandmother's meds through screening when I traveled with her and no one batted an eye.

It's also quite common for people to put their pills (especially illicit ones) in regular vitamin and aspirin bottles, especially if they're hiding their use or have something they shouldn't. Addicts are cleve that way.

I feel pretty confident stating that Prince had and addiction issue with pain medicine in general, yes. I'd go as far as to state that it's a pretty undeniable fact. And, yes, I absolutely think you're wrong about someone switching off the security system and intentionally poisining him or that there was any "foul play" whatsoever.

I apologize again for my tone

I can vouch for airport security not giving a hoot about pills. I've gone through airport security with various supplements and OTC pills loose in a ziplock bag in my purse and have never been questioned about it. I've carried on one supplement that even looks suspicious to me. It's supposed to boost your immune system. It's in a clear capsule, an herb (I guess), and it's chopped up and a brownish green color. lol TSA has never said 1 thing to me about it.

. TSA doesn't monitor pills or drugs. They are not a threat to our national security. Can you imagine the security line hold up checking all non- and prescription medications? Well, unless one plans on overdosing the whole crew and passengers. lol

According to this website: https://medlineplus.gov/anemia.html
Conditions that may lead to anemia include Heavy periods Pregnancy Ulcers Colon polyps or colon cancer Inherited disorders A diet that does not have enough iron, folic acid or vitamin B12 Blood disorders such as sickle cell anemia and thalassemia, or cancer Aplastic anemia, a condition that can be inherited or acquired G6PD deficiency, a metabolic disorder Anemia can make you feel tired, cold, dizzy, and irritable. You may be short of breath or have a headache.
If he was anemic it makes me wonder if he did have some illness. It would explain some of the photos we've seen where he had lots of clothes on, gloves, etc. like those photos of him getting off the plane for that private party he played on New Year's Eve. I refuse to believe he looked the way he did in 2016 just because of the pills he was taking. And why was he taking these pills in the first place? For shits and giggles? I don't think so. And don't be condescending saying those of us who feel this way näive or whatever. If he had been taking them for a long time (which I also don't believe) why did his physical appearance only really start to degrade in the last year or so of his life? Again that's assuming the pills are the reason he looked like he did, as some have suggested. It doesn't make sense.

Vegetarians are often anemic, hence the not enough iron.

When he went missing when married to Mayte and was found with wine and an "aspirin" bottle doesn't that indicate that since these drugs were also found in a "aspirin" bottle that this was a long term problem, dating to at minimum 1996. I loved the man, no judgment, but I don't get the reluctance to accept the facts.

My problem with saying he was ill is who was his doctor? He'd of been seeing a host of doctors for a major illness. Why would he need Kirk's Dr? It's been said that his doctor might have retired but it would be awfully strange for a doctor to leave a multimillion-dollar client with a terminal illness hanging in the wind with no doctor to contact in case of emergency so that doesn't make any sense.
I can't make any sense of it except that I don't think he just woke up one day and decided to start popping painkillers for the hell of it. [Edited 8/23/16 1:32am]

No it just means the man has a tendency to have a lot of aspirin around.

No, all the narcotics found upon his death were in aspirin or vitamin C bottles.

Alex Hahn wrote about it in his book. I posted it earlier last week the quote, but essentially on April 21, 1996 he was missing and found with bottle of "aspirin" unconscious, essentially an OD on what they labeled aspirin. So when they announced last week in several of the publications that the drugs were found in "aspirin" bottles one can deduce that since 1996 medication has been hidden in those same bottles.

Did you ever hear Mayte refute the book? I don't know the answers, but let me ask you this...how did Alex Hahn know all those years ago in that book that something was hidden in the "aspirin" bottle??? He didn't just pull that out of the air, and it now be relevant??

I dont know why this is so hard to believe. Even if it isnt true, an example of this is not uncommon. Whitney's image ("wholesome sweet girl") was created by Clive, but a lot of us knew she was already smoking pot and had a nasty mouth. Most who didnt know her, blamed Bobby for all of her troubles . She was a crackhead because she smoked crack. That simple. I dont care if she had a "physcial dependence" or an addiction, that fact is that she refused to believe the science of what was happening. She was in denial.

We cant keep blaming "enablers" ,"handlers" , "drug dealers", etc. just to preserve the image that we have conjured up about Prince. He was a great musician who didnt understand that science would trump any of his beliefs. Even a near death experience was not enough for him to realize that. He was too far gone and more than one person knew that.

I couldn't agree more. Enablers around, and when one friend even dreams of speaking the truth as Jill Jones did this week, they put the poor girl on blast. It's crystal clear why no one has said squat about it; the wrath of people who won't believe the possibilities is relentless.

I think Prince was always around these 20-something's because they were young and aspiring artist and he had a "connection" with them, not sure if they were "all" romantic.

He did have a "thing" for Tamron Hall, and she is not a 20-something. She is in her 40s.

--Is that what Judith Hill meant went she said "he wanted to be all up in her space" Is that why he invited Kandance Springs up to Paisly Park to talk music or take her out on a date. What about Andy Allow? Dressing alike, drawing hearts on each's hands. Come on now.

Kandance Springs said in an interview that he "tried it on" her but she managed to keep things as friends.. but he did try... Andy Allo.. not sure .. Judith Hill a big possiblity..
