I have only been inside Paisley Park once, to see the 1999 New Year's Eve show. They filmed that on a stage there. After reading more about Paisley Park, is there a really big soundstage that would fit his Lovesexy Tour stage in it? I can't see a really big stage set-up fitting in the room I was in for the Rave 1999 show. And the Sing of The time stage looked much bigger than would fit in this room too. Does anyone know if there is an even bigger room than the one used for the Rave DVD show?

The soundstage is bigger than you think once you get in there.

They have used 2 different spaces for shows the last few years. The main soundstage and the smaller Love 4 One Another/NPGMC Club room. The main soundstage is huge. There have also been shows in the atrium and another rehearsal area closer to the studios, but that was many years ago.

PP is like the coolest place Ive ever seen on video...would love for them to make it a museum so Princes fans can see it at least once

There are two stages at PP. The one usually used for performances and also where Prince and band would jam. Then there's a second room where they can set up a lot bigger stage. Usually it is not equipped or set up as many other bands uses it for tour practices. It is certainly large enough for the LoveSexy stage. There might not be too much room for audience. It also have perfect rigging for any kind of light show any band might like. I know Bee Gees, Beck and others rehearsed their tours there. It was up for lease for any band until he died.

Never knew the Bee Gees rehearsed there

in all those aerial shots you can see the big raised square area, the tallest part which is where the celebration concerts were. I think that was the big staging area.

1. See the part of the buiding to the left that has a pyramid and is close to the drive

2. See the 4 pyramids somewhat in the center, they called that the atrium. The elevator is in that area.

3. The Vault is located in the basement

Like ufoclub says, the tall portion of the whole complex is the soundstage, where tours were rehearsed, videos filmed, the Beautiful Experience, Love 4 One Another tv special, Emancipation Concert TV broadcast, and 1999 NYE special.

To the right of the soundstage is the Love 4 One Another/NPGMC room.

Studios A and B are also near where the 4 pyramids in the middle are, to the right.

It pretty much looks like it does in reply #12. There's nothing in the round building. See my earlier response on where Prince's living quarters were.
