I also loved when he would come on the tonight show with jay leno. The practical jokes they were playing on each other were funny. I like prince just being the prince who's just sitting around and kickin it and talking shit with his friends. He really was a funny guy

. I did see that and it was really funny, but it was also kind of mean, because I think that he was making fun of Michael Jackson. . I've heard that before. I really don't think so though. They had a mutual respect for each. Another media made rivalry. Don't get me wrong, im sure they were quite competitive but still respectful of each others awesomeness.

Haven't seen the sinbad show, but that scene in the Partyman video with the chimp was definitely a case of Prince making fun of Michael Jackson.

I always thought he was using an Elmo voice, making fun of how red Sinbad is. When you look at Mayte she leans around Prince to look at Sinbad and laughs, like an inside joke or something. Then, Prince slaps Sinbad's hand as he is cracking up like " I'm just kidding with you."

? So you don't find humor in those lyrics. Ok I don't find them funny either. Then again, I wasn't a fan of the whole macho period during the 90s. So u don't find humor in the gloriously misogynistic and humor filled line of, "I wanna fuck her, before she get too old...the kinda girl u wanna teach...she's a peach.". It's a variation on the original that would hit the stage occasionally. I love it. I smile and snicker every time I hear it.

"Dudley do no wrong tonight if Nell just let him kick it"
Seriously, who else would take five minutes of a song to make you think pure sex -- in every possible incarnation -- then bring up the idea of Dudley Do-Right and Nell having sex? Makes me laugh every time.

No, I don't see what "funny" in the lyrics.

His making fun of Bryant Gumbels clothes on Today Show .... went something like this: "would you wear a blazer"--Bryant "No" -- Prince (embarrassingly and demurely) "Would you wear khaki's"--Bryant "No" -- Prince (embarrassingly and demurely) "Would you wear these shoes?"--Bryant Prince then softly mumbles let's see, sits up to see his shoes, sits back down and says "HELL NO"
Flash forward a week or so, he surprise visits Bryant dressed like him and struts to the piano. He even impersonates Bryant saying "Take Care, Bryant".
Funny/bittersweet stuff especially since the first bit came after he talked around his child's death. I guess humor is a coping mechanism.

Yeah, he played Raspberry Beret with new lines, "When the competition goes whacky/ keep on wearing those khakis."

Idk if this has been posted or not but the video of "come on" with prince dressing as old man and riding around in the limo and rolling down his window while strangers were looking at him was hilarious

That ending tho, when he was like he couldn't hold the knife to spread butter anymore...
What a liar you are.... I imagine myself inside your bedroom; oh, I imagine myself in your sky.

Movie Star song he did a skit.
Oh I was laughing too when he made his silly facial expressions when Trey Song messed up Purple Rain on Bet Awards. He didnt even hide it lol
Damn I wish Prince made more comedy movies. I am so interesting to see did he create anymore movies in that vault

Perhaps it's a generational difference that creates our different opinions of such lines, since I was only two years old when he released that song. Love is God,
