Well it had sensitive stuff in it so the mods probably took it down for that reason, but yeah threads get taken down for any reason around here.

I spoke to someone from here about that thread, I never saw it for myself though so not sure what was on there.

But I will say one thing- even though it is still a very raw emotional time for a lot of us here, we all need to accept that gossip (and not very tasteful gossip sometimes) was and still is a part of someone as prolific as Prince, and should not be censored.

Whats important is that it is taken with a grain of salt.

Clearly most gossip sites and blogs like the one mentioned mostly turn out to be complete crap (like that one someone posted that so called happened in 1988 and it turned out the same 'author' had written similar fiction with MJ and had even gone as far as to photoshop images of her to make it look like it was taken in the '80s which fooled nobody), but it doesn't mean it should be censored.

I agree as well, I was on that thread nursev I remember and yes the stories were out there and I could see why someone would be like what?? But they were just stories I even made a comment that most of them sound made up. But I am with you, a lot of us need a laugh or two or three. I thought as well threads could only be deleted if they are of an attack nature. I think we all deep down knew most of those stories were bogus. I just find the censorship here a little odd.

I know you replied on that thread and I think we all tried to keep it respectful of Prince,but the info has been out there forever and it's wrong to just pretend it's not out there and turn a blind eye...just my opinion.

Yeah I hear ya.I didn't see any crazy comments on that thread. Maybe the org just doesnt want that kinda stuff up on here especially now after losing Prince. IDK, censorship still feels weird in the U.S.

Laura, THAT place is a nightmare. I had a random chick email me on FB a few years ago. I'd never seen her or heard of her before. I had no clue who she was, or why she found me. She was saying how Prince, Tyka, Duane and others were trying to gaslight her and other fans.

For those who don't know, Gaslight is a movie where the husband basically makes the pictures crooked on the wall & tries to convince his wife they're straight. It's doing one thing, then denying it happened to make the observer think they're crazy.

Anyway, when I told ol' girl I had no clue what le fuq she was going on about, or that I was interested in her pseudo-lawsuit against Prince and Paisley Park, she went off on me on Lipstick Alley, accusing me of being in on it (I think). Mind you, L.A was a site I'd never heard of until a Prince fan person found me and told me about it. She tried to lie on me, so I just did a screenshot of her whole FB email to me, and posted it.

Let's just say the cows were quickly ushered back in the barn after that. Never heard from koo koo again.

Some of these stories sound real, i mean it was revealed that prince had a serious sweet tooth. Many have recently said thats the case.

Yeah! It does feel almost believable but the ones I kinda don't believe are the ones that took place in the 80s during 1999/Vanity/Apollonia era. idk it's hard
