And I agree with you competely. I only give her a pass for selling the ring because I know that people do sell their rings after they get divorced and I don't think she should be held to a different standard just because she was married to Prince. If it was me, I would either keep the ring as is or have a jeweler remove the diamonds and put them in a necklace or some other piece of jewelry. (Maybe that is tacky, but it seems like a better use of the diamonds than selling them or letting the ring sit and collect dust). The love notes I would keep with pride, almost like a trophy, as evidence that Prince loved me above all other women, at one point in his life! Maybe that's sexist, I don't know, but seriously, millions of women loved him, yet he chose to marry Mayte.

I don't think it's sexist, but I would also keep them as momentos of that time in my life, being lucky enough to spend that portion, being lucky enough to call myself Prince's wife - even for that period of time. I'm sentimental like that though.
