i could see that, they have said that about frank sinatra and so forth, elvis. it has a lot of truth to it. it's almost like the saying that people who start addictions stop maturing at the age the addiction starts. My sister was an alcoholic and in many ways, she seemed less mature at 29 than she was at 13. I think of music and martial arts as my addictions and I guess in many ways i'm stuck there too. Otherwise, i'd have quit music a long time ago and wouldn't have stayed so long in the martial arts.

ya, he could have been molested, so many people are. I recall several near sexual encounters with women in my church and I wouldn't say they screwed me up but they definitely stick in my brain. I liked it though, freak that I am.

I know he said his mom showed him porno books to teach him about the birds and the bees. He said it messed up his mind. I will post the podcast Andre Cymone did talking about Prince in the Andersen house seemed like some wild times over at that house.

I heard - and maybe it was on here, so take it with a pinch of salt - that it was a girlfriend of his Dad's, and that was why he threw him out..?!

Oh no way! New one to me, wonder if true... I heard his father liked younger women too and that maybe got that affinity for younger women from his father. Who knows what is true and not, unless directly from Prince's trusted friends and associates.

I don't like the confessions thread, because if that was the real Prince, and if all the stories about being with all the different women like that sexually are true, that kind changes him in my eyes, from classy to not so classy. If he would have been a woman, he would be considered a whore, slut, skank, etc. I don't think those stories about him are amusing at all.

Maybe I just don't think of a person who likes sex and actually gets it to be some kind of deviant or a whore or whatever (be they woman or man), I just can't see how this even matters at all.

Enh, I don't think of a person who likes sex and actually gets it to be some kind of deviant, whore, or whatever either, just those that have sex with multiple partners, and seem to go from relationship to relationship without caring whom their having sex with, and just having sex because it feels good. Call it insatiable, a sex addict, whatever! I know that God created sex, and for it to be used between a man and a woman, but I don't think he wanted you to misuse and abuse it. Sex is special when two people love and care for each other, at least that is how I view it. Maybe all these sexual encounters that Prince supposedlly had with multiple partners, is the reason for the dying of AIDS rumors that surround his death now, and while no, it doesn't affect how I respect him as an artist, as a Christian, it does affect how I see him as a fellow follower of God, because if you follow his word (the bible), as Prince supposedly did, then you know that the sexual lifestyle that he supposedly lived, wasn't of God's teachings.

Also, I'm not Christian, so I really don't buy into the whole idea that sex is only special if it's with one partner forever, and that partner MUST BE of the opposite sex.

I personally believe one can enjoy sex with whoever simply to enjoy it and it's still quite special. I also can't judge Prince's sex life at all since I witnessed none of it. Who knows, maybe people were exaggerating his conquests, maybe they weren't. Whatever, Prince did him and I'm fine with that. There's no indication that he didn't care -- maybe he was just rather prolific in his love. Some people have multiple loves, and I for one am not gonna judge him for it.

Like I said, let that man straighten that out with his God, and don't worry about it. I'm sure you've got things you will have to explain to your God, too.
