well, some do, like i said, i felt wrong because of the maturity gap but my goodness, i'm glad they never tried anything on me, i'd be guilty as charged. the thing is, those girls grow up and if you can't accept that, it won't work. springsteen has a line in one of his songs "her eyes reminded me of what I'd lost" that really used to choke me up because that's how I felt. But truth is, I can't go back to that, and even the girls i knew who were 18, they are now every bit as jaded as I am now, it's life.

Honestly, I think it's control, pure and simple. Those particular men don't want anyone who could conceivably be an equal. I've seen seen some jaded ass teenage girls with hard looks in their eyes for all they might hot. How hard do you have to work to have power over someone who can't vote and often can't drive and to whom ordering a beer is impressive? It's not just about bodies. I buy the lost youth line when I see men go after young ADULT women, but not teens. Maybe a lot of men are mentally frozen in his teens or early 20s somehow?

Sometimes people want to replicate what their parents had -- like age gaps.

I wonder how many unreleased songs in the vault he had to put in the mouths of some proteges.

In many if not most cases, i'm sure you're right about that, control. but there are other reasons that I could see, one is, women age different than men, a 36 year old man can still look fairly handsome, women in their 30's don't always manage to keep their looks, i'll say that delicately before all the women come for me. But another factor is, older women have likewise been let down, dissapointed, hurt and jaded. Who needs more of that if you already have plenty of that on your own? Then there is the whole childbearing issue and also the fact that I've noticed older women don't always react very well to losing their beauty. Women my age I've seen a few who were so accustomed to men just dropping everything for them and twirling men around their little fingers when they were young, they kinda get wierd when that is no longer the case. Some of them try to compensate by being really mothering or doing unneccessary stuff to prove to themselves that they still have value. That can really get on your nerves you know. I've recently told a woman who said to me "what do i do now?" I said "whatever you do, don't start harassing grown men, that can really get on some nerves".

also, grown women, that is 18-20 these days just don't seem that mature to me in most cases, many times they seem like little girls still and that's what feels wrong to me. 75 years ago people had to marry younger due to shorter lifes spans and they say a 21 year old woman was an old maid, I don't know what the women were like then but I couldn't imagine them being the way they are now. The young men seem kinda goofy too, just like life really doesn't prepare them anymore for being an adult. Probably for a lot of human history the lifespan was not much more than 25 so I guess people had to be different than they are now, but i don't get it.
