the one thing in those confessions that really sounds like what I think of as Prince is the one where they say he dressed like women because he wanted women more comfortable around him. They also said he didn't like the company of men, which I thought was obvious.

the frilly clothing and so on is the pimp's game, ice t said it was a mental ply to be more fly than the woman and flip the script on the dynamic of the man wanting to be with the woman to the woman wanting to be with the man. alot of pimping is a mindfuck and disgusting to me but it is a part of where Prince was coming from. couple people recognized it, Miles davis and one of the guys from that black rock group, living color, what was his name,larry or something? anyway, they both said Prince was the pimp and the ho all wrapped up in one package.
