Hello Everyone!

While listening to a shuffled playlist, I was struck by the thought that so many of Prince's songs over different albums seem either intentionally or not to tell some lovely stories when listened to back to back. Looking over when some these were completed (some of them in the same session but not put on the same album or added to a new album later) this does make sense as it would reflect his mood or where he was in life then, but some seem more like happy coincidences. I wondered if anyone else had come across a good 'story' made up of several songs from different albums and thought that it would be a fun game for the forum.

So here's the challenge, what 3 songs from 3 different albums do you think tell a story that speaks to you?

Here's mine: Still Waiting, Thunder, Breakdown. When I listen to these back to back (switching CDs as I only have Prince on MP3), I think it says something lovely about faith and a relationship with God; the search for meaning in one's life. Makes me smile.

These came on the playlist today in this order, another one where the songs really fit together into a story.

This one I think is finding about knowing you've found the one and wanting to love and love on that one for all time.
