Do you think organisations like "Uptown" magazine know far far more inside knowledge on Prince than what's been already published? (Like the behind the scenes stuff)

If Prince died anytime soon, do you think past band members will come out of the woodwork and tell their true stories?


Where does the line get drawn in all of this?

I know it's morbid, to talk about it; but it will indeed be a sad day when Prince dies. I will be shattered. It will be only then, that people will appreciate him.
I do really want to hear the truth regarding drugs and homosexuality etc..

Funnily enough the legend of Serge Gainsbourg started not when he died, but when (after 35 years) he found it unable to write good songs and effectively retired
The same thing seems to be happening to Michael Jackson. The guy is finished musically, and people are starting to talk about him again.
I think if people got the impression that Prince was genuinely "finished", one way or another, they would start to look back on his music with fondness.

We revere him because of his talent, not because he reafirms our sexuality. Will some of you be horrified if you found homosexual and SM and "wierd" stories to be true?

As long as he doesn't venture into children or animals ,or kill anyone then what else is there left to disappoint us...

No matter what, his music is what true appreciators will remember him for , and not anything that comes out of the murky water, once he's dead.

Nothing is ever what it seems... doesn't mean you enjoy it less at the time.

Exactly and you won't see a Prince "revival" unless some hype is created which doesn't mean people don't appreciated his music right now. Besides even when that day comes, all you'll hear will be his hits and how great they are. All the clichés, myths etc etc.
