The 'When Doves Cry' exhibit will run from Aug. 5-27, in The Franklin Arts Center Resident Artists Gallery, located in Gallery 101 at the Franklin Arts Center, 1001 Kingwood St., Brainerd.+

The exhibit is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday — Saturday. An opening reception will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5. From 9 p.m. to midnight., a lounge after party will take place. Both events are free and open to the public. Prince music will be playing all night long. Pancakes and light refreshments will be served. Costumes and all things purple are encouraged.+
