When I bought the SOTT album inside was a postcard with P's picture (Parade era) I think in a yellow suit playing the black cloud(or whatever you wanna call it) guitar...It was info about the NEW BREED...It's been so long but I remember sending it in an never got a reply...Did anybody else get this?? Lav I'm sure you know what i am talking about...

There was an orange and black postcard included in the SOTT album,but I don't remember the one you are talking about.

Well the New Breed Fan Club was around for a while. I had joined it and they sent a plastic membership card, a large fold out poster, a few newsletters and then they never did finish mailing the rest of the items to members. I think it was a booklet and some other items. It was a long time ago. All I know is that I wrote to them several times, when that failed, I searched for a telephone number and told them that if they did not either give me a partial refund or send the rest of the items I would report it to the BBB. Low and behold I did receive the rest of my items and they also refunded my money. I only wanted the rest of my membership material, not the entire membership fee. I called and thanked them and told them that I didn't want the refund and they told me to keep it for the inconvience.

This is going WAAAY back, lol... I don't remember sending in any card... I wonder if it's still in my album? That would be funny.

I got the card when I bought the album a year later ('88) at a used record store.

I remember that...I sent my card in too. No response. That was back in the day of LPs. Ok we're showing age here...!!

Age is nothing but a number besides I was only six when this album came out...

Can't believe we're complaining about an old Prince fan club! Sheesh!

I sent in a money order for my goodies and NEVER heard from them. I remember sending them an letter at the time asking if they got the payment for the membership, but I don't remember a response. Maybe.

I thought it was messed up that I sent in my $35 and got nothing. But I thought it was just lost in the mail. As I remember, I did get contacted...hmmm...I remember now, looks like I tried tracking the money order.

BUT I couldn't track down the money order because it was one of those cheap unknown companies. Ever since then US Postal Money orders.

I actually kept the card. I consider the card not orange but PEACH and Black which was going along with the feel of Sign O THe Times and Camilles Peach And Black theme at the time.

I still want my stuff!
