s'been discussed before, but i don't mind tellin at all: the era between prince and 1999 is my absolute fave, but if i had 2 whittle it down 2 one i'd go with...


the dirty mind era

why? simple: brotha wuz findin himself around that time and wasn't afraid 2 show the music world he had cojones. plus he wuz takin everybody and their mama 4 one helluva ride (ya'll old-skoolers can testify 2 this!)--from late '70s glamourpuss 2 punked-out mofo in the course of a year or so. rawk the phuc on.
