I think that's an error listing as he appears to be scheduled to play a small suburban library some way south of Paris for most of September and October, sure that won't happen. . It's probably a different Bilal or the library is showing a performance of his or something? No idea how it would have ended up on his site though, probably just an error pulled automatically from bandsintown or an equivalent website listings.

Techncially, all Brownmark said was he was looking forward to sharing the stage with him in the future. Maybe they plan to take the Revolution show on the road? I didnt see anywhere it said anything about a date? Just says "on a stage with much larger capasity". That could mean anything and anywhere. "Put on your boots Alfred...let's go!"

At first i was thinking about attending this "tribute" but became hesitant with the lack of update info and not much making it official as of today.
My ideal tribute in his hometown would be something imitate ..such as a smaller venue, performances by former bands, associates, collaborators and even those that influenced him (who are still alive) all on one stage...Another alternate ideal tribute could of taken place at Paisley Park with either performances, dance party or any form of a celebration (like it has been these last couple years when he was hosting them)
Honestly, i don't believe even tributes are healing or satisfying because.. "Can't nobody do it, like Prince do"

I'm hoping that will mean future Revolution performances. "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

This is all crazy. Now a month away. For some I'm sure airfare is getting expensive. Always does when you try to fly close to the date you want to go. Might be getting harder for people to get time off. Others might have made other plans to be somewhere else.

interesting results. cool to see that almost 4000 people are interested in it. makes it seem less art-Official I was thinking about how Prince always does his own thing so its fitting that there have been many smaller tributes of his associates doing their own thing, but still hoping that this big united tribute works out flowing through the veins of the tree of life...purplemaplesyrup

We another day comes another day goes without any word. I really thought today would be the day since it's one month away. Not only that but at what point is in no longer "after labor day" Even Labor Day has been over a week now. It's the 13th of September and still no word on a concert that was supposed to go on sale in August . [Edited 9/13/16 18:17pm]

At this point, coordinate a multi city tribute tour. MPLS, Detroit, NY, Atlanta, L.A., Vegas. Paisley Park, Opera House/Theater venues. Invite that city's well known artists to perform.
Do all shows in April and call it Sometimes It Snows In April: a Tribute. Finish the tour in London and Paris. Make a special trip to Japan. [Edited 9/14/16 7:16am] -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Sadly it seems all of us that are making the trip to MPLS will have to create gatherings and events to attend, so that we don't waste the time and $$ we've already invested...Why can't they get anything right when it comes to P?? When he was here it was hard enough to get info on events, but it STILL continues now that he's gone?? Who would have thought almost 6 months after the fact there still wouldn't be a memorial for the fams to attend?!?! Just SAD!!! SMH Name: Arabia

At this point, I'd just like to see The Revolution hit the road with Bilal--maybe hooking up with Morris and Sheila in some venues. Or something like that. "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

I saw on twitter somewhere that announcedment was coming this Thursday. How much I beleive that is zero but it's a little tiny hope. I would love to see The Reveloution, The Time, and Sheila E do a tour. I think they could sell out medium size venues.

Looks like its a bust. Morris removed the 13th from his official page and now lists a gig in Indonesia on the 14th. With the 12 hour time difference and 11 hour flight time, he cannot do both. .

I agree and think that's an excellent idea. The Revolution could hook up with a whole host of associates at different points during a tour.

Posted on the other thread but- Morris Day is now out. He's booked in Indonesia on the 14th. He can't do both. I can't believe that McMillan and the estate are still pretending that this concert is going to happen. I have been a fan for decades and can't believe that those closest to him wouldn't want to do so much better for him than this? Then to lead the most loyal fans on, encouraging them to make travel plans and buy Paisley tickets, only to disrespect them the way we have been over the past month adds insult to the injury I feel they have already done. I don't need some d#mn estate or music industry execs. to have my tribute. I will do it through making contributions to charities he supported, encouraging my elected officials to keep arts programs in schools and dancing like nobody's watching to the incredible music he gifted us with.
