I too would love them in a better audio quality. Every time I hear them I wish I was in the audience, he sure took care of his French fans. I cannot get enough of Empty Room in 2009 Montreux and The Love We Make in 2013. I wish everyone, Prince fans non Prince fans would watch these performances to see how brilliant a performer he was, even with no elaborate stage, no dance tricks and all of that.

His music is so powerful and moving.

Sorry, French on my brain - Prince had some bomb shows there too.

Someone remind us about the 2007 show and is there a soundboard of it?

I'm like most of you in that I think both are equally as good. But, if I had to pick the best 2009 show vs. the best 2013 show I would have to give the nod to 2009 because he showed all of his musicianship in one show. He was a band leader, vocalist, expert guitar player, obscure songs, hits, etc. The 2013 shows collectively showed all of those traits. I actually like the first two shows a lot where he was more of a band leader and I love the horns. We are all lucky to have had both of these shows captured in great audio and video quality. I with we had the same for North Sea and 2007 Montreaux.

It's one of the few times he broke out of the Vegas revue mode he was in for the last decade of live shows.

He did play the cowbell. Point taken - the three shows really were a series meant to build one from the next with the third and final rock show bringing the house down. I found myself on nights 1&2 wishing he had played, but also fascinated by the fact that he was clearly experimenting with styles and performances again, which was thrilling to witness live.
