Dave Okumu ft. Jamie Woon - Oceans of Purple

This is the first originally written tribute song I've heard since P's passing and I doubt I'll hear many better.......

Liked it until the smoke part....then the end was just erie.
IMO
reminded me of something Madonna would do as a tribute.

I found the smoke moving and sad - as though it was disrupting and obscuring him so that we couldn't see him any more.

sigh Every time you think it's okay again, Sheila or The Invisible deliver something that brings the sadness back. And rightly so.

I think this track is great, an excellent collaboration.

I took the smoke with the TV still working as a sign of his immortality and indestructibility.

On a side note..... absolutely love Jamie Woon's "Night Air" I'm sure Prince could relate to that song, given how he worked at night. There really is something magic, peaceful and mysterious about the night.

Show your heart to me.
