Prince, Rising Sign Interpretation. The Rising Sign shows a person's appearance, outer personality, how the world sees the individual. The Rising Sign also can determine a person's life pattern, health issues, weaknesses. Scorpio Rising 16 deg, Second Decanate: Scorpio with Pisces sub-influence. Pluto and Neptune are the ruling planets and their aspects to the other planets have to be reviewed. He has alot of Scorpio influence in his chart: 1, Rising, 2, Sun in the 8th House(the 8th House is naturally ruled by Scorpio), 3. Pluto, the ruler of Scorpio in his Career House, the 10th House is very prominent, 4. Neptune in Scorpio Retrograde in the 12th House of karma, the past, secrets, mystery, 5. North Node in Scorpio Retrograde in the 12th House. He had Scorpio traits in his personality and attracted Scorpio people and people with strong Scorpio influences in their chart. Vanity, for example, had her Moon in Scorpio and other Scorpio influences in her chart. The Neptune influence added beauty to his appearance. He was mysterious, evolutionary, obscure and determined. There were many things about himself and his life that he did not reveal to others. He was generally secretive and did not easily trust people. Geminis tend to be short and with Scorpio Rising, impacted his short height. Hair tends to be dark, thick, usually curly. The nose may be either aquiline or concave, and tends to fullness at the tip. The eyes shine brilliantly, are very magnetic, dark and round. The voice has a deep strong tone and is compelling, and sexy. There is a preference for quality clothes and to care about the appearance. He liked to look sexy. There is a special manner to the walk; it seems to have a bounce or swing to it, like wagging an indivisible tail. The general character is quite complex, introspective, analytical, intuitive, psychic. The emotions are intense. His emotions were often kept bottled up, he did not like to openly show his emotions. He was critical of himself and of others. Scorpio is a wiry sign, he had a strong constitution. However, if he overdid things, that would cause emotional strain and health problems. He was creative and artistic. He would adjust and compromise when neccessary because of the Pisces influence. The Neptune influence gave him an affinity for water. Water, the sea can be healing for water risings, Moon and Sun signs. He worked well with others. He also needed alone time. He was persuasive, a leader, clever, a visionary. He had a hypnotic quality, charming, witty, observant. He was always thinking of new ideas. Next, Sun in the 8th House...

This makes me so fucking happy I'm a Scorpio and we made Prince even more awesome smile

Seriously this is very interesting, I've had my natal chart done before it was very spooky as most of it described me and my life to a t.

Prince, 10th House interpretation.

The 10th House: a parent, career, ambition, employer, public image.

*Leo was his career House. He worked well with Leos.

Leo, 29 deg, 10th House Cusp: the 29th deg is a karmic number. Suggests that a person "can't get enough". He also had Pluto 29 in the 10th House. The planet may represent unfinished business or undeveloped talents from a past lifetime.

The 29th degree of Leo: deals with ego karma. Hobbies, children or drama are likely to be the subject. In the 10th House career is the karmic focus.

Many celebs have Leo on the cusp of their 10th House. He had a need to shine in his career. Recognition and praise for his work was important to him. Working in the public eye is influenced by Leo. He was proud of his accomplishments. His self-expression was unique, he was an individual. Ego, status and prestige was important to him. He was ambitious and had excellent leadership skills. He was very intuitive and creative. He liked to play the role of teacher. One of his tasks was to help others and be a beacon of light for them. He treated his coworkers and fans as "best friends". However, he worked best alone. At times, he was too dominating of others. People who have Leo in the tenth House prefer to be their own boss. And he did not like to take orders from people or follow the crowd. He had a love for drama and was dramatic regarding his career.

Pluto in Leo: emphasizes love of power, a domineering ego and self-aggrandizement. This influence also gives a person strong pride and a will to prevail despite obstacles. There is a tendency toward arrogance, selfishness and sensual pleasures.

Prince, 10th House interpretation, continued.

Pluto: power, transformation. Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio. The Scorpio influence is strong in his career House/10th House. Scorpio is another sign that he worked well with. He received help from Scopios, people with Strong Scorpio influence in their chart and other powerful individuals.

Pluto is an intense planet. It creates an inner need of controlling the issues represented by the House. Career issues, public image represents the 10th House. Sometimes leading to obsessions concerning those areas.

The 10th House also represents a parent, usually the father.

His father may have been domineering. Prince may have had a subconscious fear towards his father when he was a kid. Maybe because he saw his father being frequently absent from home and constantly occupied in his career. His father may have had big expectations from his childhood, which may have influenced Prince to become obsessed with creating a stronger career than his father had. Prince studied his father's character and reactions.

Prince was frequently accepted by older and powerful people when he was young. Some people in authority were fond of Prince, and they saw him as a young part of themselves. That made them want to help him by opening roads and windows for a career.

Prince become a workaholic with a goal of having a strong public profile and/or earning a status. And he attained a grand public image. The masses were obsessed by his public image. He would receive a Love or Hate reaction from many people.

He had an insatiable drive towards becoming successful in his career. He had great organizational skills. He achieved a position of power in his career. He did not like anyone controlling him. He tended to be a control freak with work matters. He was also a perfectionist. The Pluto influence made him very robust in dealing with difficulties. He also had strong persuasive abilities. He had a strong striving impact on society and that will last forever through his music and legacy.

People who have Pluto in their 10th House need to periodically tear down structures and rebuild them. They are also subject to career upheavals and destruction of reputation. However, they have the ability to regenerate their career.

The Nodes of the Moon in Astrology Meanings.

The Nodes represent a person's life purpose and the spiritual life lessons to be learned.

The Nodes of the Moon suggest personal karmic imbalance. The South Node is associated with past life experiences. The South Node is said to be placed according to the past life experiences of former lifetimes. A person has to let go of the past experiences and move to the influence of the North Node(curent life purpose). The Nodes being opposite imply that a balance is to be reached.

Whether or not a person consciously works on the lessons, events in life will likely force the person to confront them. Fear is associated with the South Node issues. It is very often a point of great insecurity. People will often help a person confront the North Node issues.

The North Node by sign and house shows an area of life and personality that a person may neglect or avoid, possibly do to fear and resistance. The house position of the North Node shows the context for the challenges, and the sign position reveals the qualities that need to be developed.

Prince, North/South Node interpretation.

North Node in Scorpio/South Node in Taurus.

There is a tendency to be overly self-reliant and set in one's ways. With this position, a person needs to loosen the grasp he or she has on things, people. They need to open themselves up to their soul's need for transformation, change and regeneration.

Difficulties in partnerships is likely because the person tends to be blind to others' values and worth. They need a partner and they need to learn the value or true partnership and intimacy(sharing) in order to gain the security that they so crave. They may fear taking chances, tend to resist change as well as imput from others. At times they can be imprisoned by the world of the five senses, and need to learn to fearlessly confront the possibility of crisis and change in their life. Moving out of the seemingly solid and stable material world can seem intimidating. Clinging to things and people that are either outdated, limiting or counter to one's growth, will steer the person in the wrong direction. When they release themselves from their attachment of doing things their own way, that will help them find inner balance and satisfaction.

Prince, South Node interpretation.

South Node 0 Taurus in the 6th House. The 6th House deals with work and health issues. The natural ruler of the 6th House is Virgo.

He had karma with some Taurus people in this life, (Taurus South Node).

In some of his past lives, he worked in jobs that had crucial but unglamorous roles. His major past life/lives themes were associated with: duty, mundane responsibilities, subordination to the needs of others. self-improvement through work and detailed attention to a craft. In many incarnations, he mastered the craft of mastering a craft. That is why he was a musical prodigy in this lifetime. He had been practicing, playing instruments is several past lives.

In this lifetime, he needed to learn to break away from obsessive, perfectionistic habits, being selfish, pushy and stubborn.

In many of his past lives he was focused on being a perfectionist, analyzing and criticizing everything. He may have acted the same way in regards to his work and health in this life.

Prince, North Node interpretation.

North Node 0 Scorpio, 12 House.

Scorpio individuals helped him.

His life mission was to develop the ability to see the big picture and avoid getting wrapped up in details. Issues that he had to explore: questions around spiritual debts, dreams, hidden secrets, and difficulties he may have refused to acknowledge. He needed to be compassionate, forgiving and express his creative gifts.

He had to learn to trust the unseen, to feel powerful and make important changes in life. He made some fortunate contacts with people who played a transformative role in his life. Others were powerful, magnetic or forceful.

In this lifetime, he had to find peace, solace and spiritual meaning. He made contact with people who gave selflessly and with spiritual teachers. Prince was destined for spiritual greatness. He needed to put faith in spiritual powers. He had the opportunity to complete a major karmic cycle this lifetime.

In some of his past lives, he experienced issues with abandonment, rejection, betrayal and sorrow. In some of his past lives, he may have worked in the medical field, was a healer and worked selflessly for others.

This lifetime was a journey of self discovery for him. His task was to know and love his true self. To lead a life that inspires others, to create harmony and honor the brotherhood of man.

He needed to be spiritual, think positive, acknowledge the connection with the universe and welcome change. He needed to avoid being anxious and judgmental. To meditate and have time alone for self-reflection.

He may have had a tendency to worry, feel guilt, of not doing enough, and over - analyzing himself and others. He needed to learn to let go of the feeling of not doing enough, to be humble and to trust and develop his imagination. He needed to let go of obsessions with rules, details, perfectionism and to ease the fear of failure and guilt. He also needed to learn that he and others are not perfect.

He needed a private space or office. He worked well alone. He enjoyed projects that involved discovering and carrying out a vision where the work is done in private. He did this through his music. That is how he showed his private dream to the world.

The North Node in the 12th House increased his psychic and creative abilities.

Retrograde Planet meaning...

When a Planet is in Retrograde, it's energies are turned inward and becomes more subjective. The energy is slower manifesting in the external world, partly because the individual tends to think more deeply about the energies involved. Many Geniuses and leaders have Retrograde Planets.

Retrograde Planets represent issues to be Repeated or Completed. A Retrograde Planet is an opportunity for a person to do over again something that was not done correctly in a Past Life.

Retrograde Planets brings memories of prior lifetimes into the current life. The person has to resolve the issues that are Unfinished. Much spiritual growth can take place through the overcoming of the difficulties involved with the Retrograde Planet(s).

Prince, Neptune Retrograde interpretation.

Neptune Retrograde:

This aspect gives a person the desire to unveil mysteries and to expose religious shams. Neptune Retrograde indicates the urge to view the material world in terms of it's insignificance to the soul and it's growth. Thus, Neptune Retrograde offers a person the opportunity to achieve a very advanced stage of spiritual evolution in life. The requirement is that a person lives in the material world while remaining seperate from it. Prince was very in touch with the cosmos than the material world and he knew far more than he could express in words.

Prince was enigmatic, not easily understood, very sensitive, an old soul, very psychic, intuitive and imaginative. At times, he may have thought that he was responsible for things going wrong. He was easily hurt but he would hide that feeling and act tough. He was living through a karma of learning how to distinguish between the dreams that would bring true fulfillment and those that simply appear to do so.

He may not have always trusted his intuition. He had an intuitive awareness of his subconscious mind, but may of had difficulty making conscious attunement. It was important for him to listen to and head insights that appeared from "out of the blue".

Prince may have lived a past life where his dreams were laughed at, put down, forbidden, or forced to give up his dream for other responsibilities. The past restrictions may have caused him to escape or have extreme expressions of creativity in this lifetime.

Individuals who have Neptune Retrograde are fond of musical and artistic activities. Because of their sensitive nature, they often chase unrealistic fantasies. They tend to shut out reality. They are prone to have problems with alcohol or drugs. They are idealistic and compassionate. They may hide their compassionate, vulnerable or spiritual side because they may feel uncomfortable expressing that side of them. They can also be naturally distrustful of others.

Prince, Neptune in the 12th House interpretation.

The 12th House: secrets, mystery, hidden things, the subconscious, the past, past lives, karma, spirituality, the inner self.

The 12th House is associated with past lives and one's ancestors. This house has influence over the part of a person's self that is most deeply wounded. Karma from past lives are represented in this house. Healing the 12th House issues helps a person to release karma from previous lifetimes.

The 12th House also represents things that are hidden/secrets. The things hidden can be qualities that a person possesses that he or she hides from others, or qualities that they are unable to accept in themselves.

Libra 26 deg, 12th House Cusp: he had unresolved karma with with partners in work and life. He was charming and fair-minded. The influence of Libra in the 12th House indicates that discord may have erupted through matters concerning marriage, business partnerships, cooperation, and he needed to proceed cautiously with those matters. If misunderstandings were taken too seriously, that could have caused his marriages or business partnerships to dissolve. He may have secretly over-spent his money.

Prince, Neptune in the 12th House interpretation.

Neptune 2 deg Scorpio, 12th House:

Planets in the 12th House are shadowy, but a person will always be aware of the planet(s) influence on a subliminal level. A planet in the 12th House represents what is hidden behind the face of a person. The Rising sign and planets in the 1st House shows a persons outer personality.

Past Life/Lives: Prince was a spiritual figure, a poet and artist in one or more past lives. He mostly dealth in the realm of imagination. He was also always attuned to other dimensions. Neptune in the 12th House can indicate experiencing religious persecution in a past life.

In this lifetime, at times, he may have had a compulsive urge to escape from reality. Neptune in the 12th House can influence addictions.

The 12th House is responsible for all things
beyond the conscious mind and the collective unconscious of mankind.

He was very sensitive. He had the ability to absorb everything through osmosis. He would attract the suffering and energy of others. He needed to stay away from negative people, situations and environment. Negativity would have made him ill physically, mentally and spiritually. He needed to find ways of building protective barriers from everything outside of himself. The reason is, all the data of the collective feelings would keep streaming in his conscious mind. He was also able to pick up information from others. His dedication to his music/work should have helped him to channel the flow of those energies in a positive direction. He needed to be careful about any feelings of guilt, because that also would have caused him stress and prone to ill health. He needed time to be alone to rest and relfect.

Neptune is the Ruler of Pisces and the 12th House. This placement increases a person's creative and artistic talents. People with this placement have the ability to formulate collective dreams into art. This position of Neptune also increased Prince's spiritual and psychic abilities. He likely had many prophetic dreams. And he said that when he was a kid, an Angel told him that he would heal from the health problem he had. He was interested in the hidden realms of life and the afterlife. He made that clear in many of his songs.

He was caring, compassionate and generous. Many people took advantage of his kind nature. That is a common influence of Neptune in the 12th House and Moon in Pisces.

He had a splash Natal chart, planets evenly disributed in his chart.

He had planets in 9 Houses of his chart. That indicates that he had many interests, knowledgeable in different topics, and proficient in a number of areas. He was prone to scatter his energies.

6 Planets located on the top half of his chart:

The top half of the chart influences social and public life. That influenced him to be career oriented. He was involved with the community and the world at large. Approval of the public was important to him.

6 Planets located on the right half of his chart. This part of a chart indicates the impact of the world on a person. They are molded by circumstances. He was influenced by his surroundings and by the people in his life. Each experience became part of his personality.

The Angular Houses: 1,4,7 and 10. He had planets in three of those Houses. That indicates achieving prominence.
