The only glaring omission I see is little Richard. Gun to head I'd say Prince has more than a little, little Richard dna in him! He probably just missed him, though. |

No Mayte? alright, that's cold. Prince might've moved on from her via depression, adultery and deception by a horrible, stalking, conniving piece of work, but Mayte was still part of his 'spiritual development' or as i would call it 'being less sensible', he should've thanked her too. but whatever. That's Prince.

I suspect if this was written more recently than circa 2000ad , it might've been a bit different. I'd hope so anyway.

Regarding his mom, in an interview one time, Prince had mentioned how his mom didn't like him being a musician because she thought he would be like his dad. So he may have felt she didn't support that part of his life and therefore didn't include her in this list. His dad taught him how to play the piano, so it makes sense he included him. | |
