And my girl Vanity isn't on it..she did work with him..but i guess she also helped him in umm otha ways as well razz wink lol

Really? Michael Bland, aka Michael B. was Prince's drummer (making his debut on SNL with "Electric Chair" in 1989, and was with the NPG (the funkiest version, IMO), until just before Emancipation. He was the big dude behind drums through the late 80s and into the 90s. He was in Graffiti Bridge, The Diamonds & Pearls Video Collection (ordering that 20 piece bucket of chicken), etc. He and Sonny T. also recorded some tracks with Prince for 3121. Michael & Sonny also played with Prince on The Tonight Show, during the 3-night gig, when he did "Dreamer".

1/ Prince reportedly liked their music and that's y he gave 'em the song, and IIRC they were also the ones who brought Three O' Clock to his attention, so they were inspirational in some ways.

2/ Prince made a shitload of money with Manic Monday thanks to them.
