I came across this interesting Twitter conversation from Van Jones regarding the awful rumours about Prince that we have seen splashed all over the media etc.

Van Jones' Response - @Black_Out_ABE /we are just waiting to see who is who -- who is loyal & who is fake. I will tell you: he predicted every phony, 99 percent.

But,i think van is speaking about those people that prince owed money to.That contacted the estate.Some on here have said prince didn't pay a few people.mj owed the thriller prod a mint never pd him and he submitted to the estate and they paid it.Now people like van thinks that they didn't do this while he was alive why now

Seeing what information leaks out helps to determine the source of the leak sometimes. Someone else mentioned claims being made to the estate. It isn't really that hard to figure out why they're waiting to see what crawls out of the woodwork.

Shouldn't anyone trying to protect his legacy know who they are protecting it from? If stuff is leaking or bogus claims are being made then lawsuits, injunctions or other punitive measures may need to happen. I need to remind people again that this is an open probate case.

Make a list of everybody YOU think should have done something....don't just single out one person.

How about starting with people who actually worked in the building/lived in Minneapolis, etc. Why would they need Van to tell them what to do if they were already there up close and personal?

I wish he hadn't been left alone either but I'm not going to sit here and single out individual people to lash out at.

like fake family members? i'm speaking about all the claims of prince being a long time drug addict, having aids, etc., from media and fans, people who have no claim to his estate. close associates can speak on that.

Maybe because Prince guarded his privacy so fiercly, all those speaking out about him and claim to be his "friend" are one of the 99% fake friends? I'm speculating here of course but it seems like Van Jones was making a barbed comment aimed at Prince's "friends" who have spoken out.

lol, Van is singling himself out by saying "Prince knew who the fake friends are" ... implying Van himself is not one of those fake friends.

Anyway, here is Van himself telling how he feels about it ... (and rightly so, he fucking damn well should feel that way, like many others of Prince's inner circle of "friends" ... why the fuck did nobody of them do anything after the doctors saved his life only A FEW DAYS earlier? That should have been a fucking wake-up call to anyone close to Prince to DO SOMETHING, to ACT ... not just send him a fucking text or email or whatever asking "U ok?" WTF?!
