Charlamagne's Prince Story.... Has anyone heard this? That Charlamagne claims that Prince came to his radio station early one morning and after a brief introduction, Prince turned and "floated" away? He swears Prince was 6 to 8 inches off the ground. I don't have a link and don't know how to post Youtube videos but I just saw this on Youtube. I know it sounds crazy but he swears he took a picture of Prince "floating" and showed it to a bunch of people at the radio station and, after showing the pic the screen went black and picture was gone. I don't know-- Is it possible Prince was "something else"?

Yes. Does anyone know where the cartoon is of him in the yellow? Not Questloves story but there was another- I think the cartoon talks about him just floating away. A lot of people claim he could. Dude believed in himself. For reals. And I believe he could do stuff no one else can. Surprise, surprise.
Another treat. Another trick.

You know, I think it was Jimmy Fallon who said "he floated" onto the stage during the SNL After-party. 2 different people saying the same thing???? I think we need an X-Files thread....Scully and Mulder need to be called! Welcome home class. We've come a long way. - RIP Prince

I immediately thought of what Jimmy Fallon said when I heard the Charlamagne story. Charlamagne also claimed that after performing at the SNL party- Prince "disappeared" - not walked away, didn't leave the stage, but disappeared. He said the guy sitting beside him said, "Oh no he did not..." and Charlamagne said something like, "No. No.....":O

I'd be lying if I said this had never crossed my mind before. It's a crazy thought but Prince was everything. Hard to comprehend for sure. At any rate, the thought and that story are amusing as well We all want the stuff that's found in our wildest dreams. . .

In one of the articles I read recently some employees at PP said Prince would just appear out of no where. They never heard or saw him coming he would just appear. So yeah I can see him floating.

Both Charlemagne and Wendy Williams also stated they had photos of him on the cell phones (Charlemagne had the photo of him floating) but they mysteriously disappeared from their phones...as in the photos turned completely black. Seconds after taking the photos. I've said it for years...Prince was from another planet Make it so, Number One...

Sounds like one of Wendy's crack hallucinations.

What a load of absolute nonsense.

Occam's Razor: Charlamagne is on drugs. The kind that make you see things. . . Also, Prince was adorably tiny. It wouldn't be that hard for him to come in or out of rooms undected without the use of magic or alien powers or something.

I don't believe it but it makes me smile just to think just maybe he did - sure he'd b laffing his head off

I was thinking more about this last night as I was falling asleep and I came up with this; You know how monks meditate to the point where they can do all kinds of supernatural things- levitate etc. ? Well, isn't music meditation? Especially when you are so deep into the music and what you are doing? Is it possible that Prince reached some sort of zen plane where maybe he did float?

Charlamagne has always been a great storyteller...he sounds convincing...ive wondered at times if Prince was supernaturally and spiritually 'gifted'/'cursed'(?)...too many stories from different people...i even believe Sinead O'Connor's story ...he always looked like he's not 100 percent human being..."Way Back Home"?...

I forget what she said (Sinead) was it that his eyes changed color or something like that?

Oh good grief! - Prince was an extraordinary person, and was gifted and very special in lots of ways, but he didn't possess supernatural powers that enabled him to LITERALLY float half a foot above the ground, or fly, or walk through walls or use telekenesis to destroy high school gyms. He also didn't have a rib removed so that he could pleasure himself, nor did he sit in cemetaries at night and eat live bees out of jars or have telepathic conversations with Sheena Easton. - Prince was a man. An amazingly talented musician and often an eccentric man...but he was still only a HUMAN MAN. I think the sad reality that he is gone now is proof of that. - These kind of outrageous stories are amusing, but it makes me wonder more about those who buy into them to any degree than they make me wonder if Prince was an extraterristrial being or had magical superpowers. - Plus, among ALL the many elaborate, unique and even bizarre clothing he wore over the years, I never saw him wearing a cape.

I wholeheartedly believe Prince was a star child. He was otherworldley.

No, but I am one day going to do what Prince DID do:

I have always believed he was so in tune with another dimension that he just cast his spell on us all; he was really a different sort. I think that is why I loved him so due to that difference. He was always in another realm it seemed -of course I know he was human but he was on a different level so I do believe all the stories about levitation and him just appearing to people.

yes, thank you. I agree with that

One of Layla's pictures (someone can post it) says that Prince was mimicking Ali's "levitation" trick during their White House visit.

I have seen that trick by David Blaine and have heard the Charlamagne interview. That is one of the first things I thought of too, but...in the trick you don't walk you stand still. Charlamagne is saying Prince levitated out of the room so he floated while moving out. IDK, it sounds crazy and with the Jimmy Fallon stories and the other SNL story. Sinead I don't know her story about Prince's eys. He was a mysterous cat that is for sure. As far as supernatural, maybe....I'm not crazy, I think I just believe in Prince so much that I think he could do anything. So hey, why not. "A strong spirit transcends rules." - Prince
