The show was generally bad. Blackface, yellowface or brownface in practically every episode, added features that don't represent the artist (like Beyoncé sitting on the committee's table...) or just don't fit the song (moonwalk and crotch grabbing in MJ's Thriller), mocking ethnic minorities verbally...

The only thing IMDB lists is one instance of someone singing "1999" in a 2007 Minneapolis audition episode. It was the same year he sang "Lolita/Satisfied" on the finale.

"How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore?" and "When Doves Cry" were both sang on Australian Idol in 2005, and 2003 respectively. They were in the regular run of performances, not the audition process. His songs have been used on other Idol franchises, like Malaysia, Indonesia, and New Zealand.
