I don't have any tattoos, but have always thought about getting one.

Do you have a favorite? There are some pretty awful tats too. Maybe those would be more fun to point out. This looks nothing like Prince. To go through all of that pain -- for nothing

It's a serious work in progress since it's so big. I'm 2 sessions in and I go back for my third in 2 weeks. I got my first Prince tat years ago while I was still in college. Therefore I was broke and didn't have much to spend. Needless to say it's pretty shitty lol I've always wanted it covered and re-done but always put it off. Once he passed I knew this was the right time. I decided to go big or go home.

WOW indeed. The Parade cover is so stunning, it makes me want to get the same tattoo. Beautiful and well done.

I was talking to my artist and we were saying how Prince portraits seem hard to do. THIS one is the best I've seen!! That is epic. Kudos to that artist

Does anyone else remember a website "Socrates Purple Experience" For a time he had a lot of artwork incorporating different variations of the symbol. Many were cool, always thought they'd make intersting tattoos

the only one I've seen in that league is the one I mentioned (I think it was Kat Von D) but I cannot find it to save my life! If I find it I'll post, it was from the UTCM era. But yea, this one is STUNNING!

YESSS, that's the one!!! & now that I'm seeing it again, I like the UTCM album cover better but this one is great - thx for finding it!!

I love the "always cry for love" one, & the ones that use the absense of color/design to create the symbol. Thx for that tumblr link, very cool!
