"I Hate U" & "Dark" ...2 me can go hand N hand w/ the message it sends out...both songs have a quiet groove 2 them & some lady really really broke Prince's heart N these songs! 
Listening 2 the ending of "I Hate U" really intensifies my heart beat...specially when he's starts describing how she "betta stay on the beat" 
& when Prince sez in "Dark": "I neva knew a b*tch so mean! OW!!! Yessir!!" Im like  "Damn, what the hell did she do 2 him?"

AMen! Nice observation Cherrie...
I always find that some of Prince's better songs, are his more emotional ones. Times he really puts his voice and those guitar strings to the test. I tell ya, people think I'm a schizo, when they catch me at a red light, bobbing my head intensely to a Prince solo. I Hate U is an epic! It totally blew me away the first time I heard it, it is the balancing peice on TGE... Dunno why it doesnt get discussed more! Personally . I think we are all Boring with No Lives cause all we do is talk about Prince,Criticize and Gossip. I need a Horny Man is what I Need and probably so do most of yas. I like the simpler version [Dark] a little bit better...but if he was going to release it, then So Dark would've been better for the radio. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory! | |

Which is why I made this thread yeah. I can kinda relate 2 I hate you. That's why I love it so much...Muzic, lyrics and all! They did WHAT??!....
