i mean... yes, it's a bit overwrought. Still, I think it's a great track. Sonically it's amazing. Some great great vocal parts, and the guitar work is fantastic. I love to blast it in my car... makes the doors shake.

There is a silliness factor, yes. But there is with Bohemian Rhapsody, too, and nobody seems to mind it...

I don't understand the hatred towards that song either. It's not on my top-10 list...but I certainly enjoy it.

Clearly, Prince must've been in his car...and Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody came on the radio...and he said;

...and he DID.
